Charming apartment just few meters away from the Pantheon and Via del Corso (main shopping street). The apartment is composed by one double bedroom, one bathroom, nice living room with a double sofa-bed and a small kitchenette. Nice rooftop garden with laundry! The property is part of an historical renewed building composed by 4 small apartments in a very quite environment, even if in the middle of the most visited area in Rome. The Guests will have access to the terrace on the rooftop at any time of day and night.
Extremely safe area, the location is walking distance from all the most important monuments of the city;1 minute from Pantheon, 3 minutes from the Italian Parliament, 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps.

Pros: First, we want to say that our stay in this apartment was perfect for us and any couple looking to be in the middle of all the action located in Rome. It is steps from The Pantheon and easy walking distances from other major attractions like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. We were able to walk everywhere, sit on the rooftop and enjoy a glass of wine, and use the washing machine to clean our clothes. It is noisy when you open the windows and not as noisy when you have them closed. This to be expected when you are in the heart of Rome. It is a very safe area too.
Cons: After making our final payment and receiving a confirmation, we did not hear from Diana, the landlord. We had emailed and later called, hoping we would hear by the time we got to Rome. When we arrived, we had no word from her, and we were left standing outside of the apartment with our bags. Luckily, there was a kind bar owner named Pasqual who knew her brother and was able to get in touch with him to give us a code to get inside. Once inside we walked 3 flights of stairs to the apartment where there was a key. After we entered we ran out because it looked like someone had been staying there. After telling Diana's brother, he quickly got her on the phone and we were able to get in touch with her. She apologized and told us she did not get any of our messages and was not sure we were coming, even though our payment had gone through. She quickly called the cleaning lady and she came within 10 minutes. We left to grab a bite to eat and within an hour the cleaning lady had worked her magic. The apartment was very clean, bed made with clean sheets, and swept. After that, we were able to settle in for the next 3 nights and explore the wonders of Rome. She sent us recommendations and was very kind to us apologizing for the mistake.
Advice: For those choosing this apartment, make sure to get a hold of Diana prior so that she can send you the information you need to get inside. Do not assume she will reach out to you. The number provided on HomeAway does not connect either. She has another number. Also, be aware that there is no elevator and that you will be carrying your bags up a few flights of windy stairs that are marble. It's not that steep, but if you have more than one bag, you will be making more than one trip. When you arrive, check out the bar next store, ask for Pasqual, and enjoy a drink! He is a great connection to have and will help you if you need it
Pleasant stay. Excellent location. The owner was extremely accommodating. Good recommendations for local restaurants. Nice kitchen. Loved the seating area on the roof. The two items that could improve are clothes washer needs instructions in English and portable fan in the bedroom for cooler sleeping (the AC unit was near the sofa bed in the main area).
I had been to Rome several times in the past, and stayed in hotels. For this trip, I knew I wanted to stay in the historical center, and this location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the Forum, Piazza Navona, and a bit farther away the Vatican. The unit was clean, and safe. The kitchenette was small, but I didn't come to Rome to cook my own meals. I just wanted to make my own coffee in the morning, and have a glass of wine at night. And besides, the restaurants all around the apartment were fabulous. Just take a stroll, read the menus, and make your selection. Diana was lovely to meet when we arrived, but we had no need to contact her again during our stay. It can get noisy on the weekend evenings with the young crowd leaving the
Perfect location in Roma. Apartment was great. A/C worked very good and kept the apartment very comfortable despite the 97 degree heat every day. There are several restaurants and stores on the same street which makes it very nice. Grabbing a cab back to the airport was easy as well as there is a taxi stand next to the Pantheon. Diana was very nice and gave us several suggestions to enjoy our time there.
This apartment was just about perfect - great location (literally in the heart of the old city), quiet, comfortable, clean, affordable and a caring manager. It was a thrill each morning to exit the front door and see the first row of columns of the Pantheon just a few steps away.
Despite its central location, the apartment is relatively quiet. No restaurant or bar tables spill out onto Via del Seminario, so one is rarely bothered by late night diners or revelers. Can't say how well the air-con or heat works, as we didn't use either in early May.
The website photos are accurate. The Wi-Fi worked well. The living room is comfortable and the lamps there and in the bedroom provide good lighting (something not always found in Rome apartments.)
The bedroom is very quiet with an ensuite, a closet and a wardrobe. My only quibble: as in many Rome apartments (and hotels), the water pressure in the shower is low and the drain is slow. But there is good bathroom lighting and a hairdryer with an outlet next to the mirror. There's access to a top-floor terrace and washing machine.
We really loved this apartment and hope to stay there again. Just be aware it's a walk-up; no elevator.
We stayed there 3 nights in April and could not have been more satisfied with the location and overall accommodations. Diana was pleasant and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is a portable fan for the bedroom. It was cool while we were there but the air conditioning will not cool the bedroom during hot months. Very nice and I would stay here again if we are ever back in Rome.
