Great apartment near the train station; great communication
We are a family of 4 (parents, kids ages 12 and 15) and stayed for 2 nights in early January. Because our stay was so short, we did not use the kitchen other than for water. The apartment was warm and cozy and so nice to come back to after a long cold day outside. Most important for us it was an easy walk to the train station. The communication from Dario and Edwin was terrific; very clear on check in and other information. One thing I didn't know when booking this apartment is all of the restaurants on the very street; we really enjoyed having so many great options for dinner so close. A small improvement to the apartment would be the water pressure in the shower; and add a rack or something for toiletries in the shower. Our kids really enjoyed having bunk beds. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay close to the train station and appreciates good communication with the owner.
Nice apartment in a great location
Nice apartment and we're grateful for the working air conditioning. Best gelato we have had in Italy is right around the corner. Beds were comfortable. Little cramped for 5 people but there was space. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you
Local, quiet, great location!
We stayed here the first two nights of our three week vacation in Italy and it was certainly a good choice among so many options in Milan.
Let's start with the neighborhood. The area is very local, very local cafes which close early. Very nice area, felt safe, clean, quiet, and getting in and out was very easy.
There is the Isola metro station right below the apartment. I recommend to change in Zara station for access to most tourist areas.Garibaldi station is large and complicated.
There is a market right on Via Pola, I remember the afternoon hours from 4-8. Very friendly shops. Also in Via Pola I got very nice breads and ravioli at Il Forno di Via Pola, excellent.
The building is very well maintained, the elevator was an attraction itself for our three kids...
The apartment is very nice, well maintained, the host was incredibly nice allowing us to arrive a little earlier and leaving some carrot-orange-lemon juice which we looked at with a little skepticism... after trying that we are now engaged in America having to buy coldpressed carrot juice to mix with the orange juice!!
Apartment is small, good air conditioning, which cooled quickly, good kitchen for a two day stay, nice comfortable main room bed, nice linens, nice baths... the dining area was a little uncomfortable for a party of five but whatever it had a nice european feel just to sit there.
What more can one ask? I can't recall a flaw...
I would choose this apartment every time!
This was our first trip to Milano and I`m very happy having chosen this appartment, it is clean, in a good place, near to the metro and train station Garibaldi, where from we could get everywhere. The great thing was, that the appartment was just, as we have seen on the pictures.
We are hoping to stay again,
thank You very much, Dario!
Modern, large and clean room. Quiet neighborhood. The owner is very helpful, reply any request very quick. We really enjoyed our stay.
