Why Elise Kollerud chose Florence
Very well equipped; wifi, air conditioning, dishwasher, ipod docking station, newly modernised. The apartment is in the center of Florence and at the same time in a quiet area. I particularly liked the the view overlooking the rooftops of Florence, with the " Duomo " and the bell tower in the distance. The typical beamed ceilings, the height under the ceiling gives a feeling of air and space. The furniture is a mixture between old antique Tuscan furniture and new more modern solutions. The kitchen and its utensils are all new. Including a dishwasher. New bed, new bed-linen, towels. Easy to park close to the apartment. A feeling of fresh, new and clean interior.
There is a cot for babies.

WONDERFUL APARTMENT IN FIRENZE
Elise's apartment was our home for two (2) months, March 1 to April 30, 2019. The apartment is centrally located. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to all the major attractions. We were met by Massimo when we arrived in Firenze. Very friendly and attentive. He even helped carry our heavy luggage up the stairs (3rd floor). As soon as we entered the apartment, we felt very comfortable. So cozy, very clean and love the decor. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is really big. The living room is actually bigger/more spacious compared to the pictures. The apartment is equipped with a washer but no dryer. You can hang dry your clothes (clothesline) if you want or go to the laundromat right around the corner. We preferred to dry our clothes at the laundrymat.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There is no lift/elevator. Lots of steps but we didn't mind. It was part of our exercise routine after eating all the delicious pasta. lol
Love the location! 5-minute walk to the Galleria dell'Accademia. 5-minute walk to Mercato Centrale. 10-minute walk to the Duomo. 15-minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and the train station (Firenze SMN). There is a carrefour/market just a few steps away. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We purchased most of our wine, some fruits and vegetables from Maurizio"s, across the street. We love Maurizio and miss him already. Such a wonderful man.
All in all, my husband and I loved the apartment. Convenient location. Safe neighborhood. Great value! We also loved the quietness of it all. Thank you Elise for letting us stay in your wonderful place. It was our home away from home. We will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really Cute we’ll furnished apartment
We spent 5 days at Elise’s Firenzi apartment. We really liked the location, close enough to walk to all the major sights and train station but far enough away to be out of the crazy energy of the tourist horde.
The apartment was decorated beautifully, showing lots of pride in the owners Norwegian roots. It has a very comfortable sofa and most especially a very comfortable bed. A good sized tv with lots of great videos was a plus. It’s on the 4th floor with no lift but that was no problem for us. There is a really wonderful Taverna right across the street and we ate their twice. We had a wonderful time at Elise’s in Florence.
Thank you so much for your kind review! It means a lot to me that my guests enjoy my apartement and Florence.
Thank you also for telling me about your norwegian roots.
Come back any time:-)
All the best,
The Most Lovely Florence Apartment
A perfect city apartment. Well cared for, well appointed and very large for a European flat. It was the absolutely perfect location. Walking distance to everything you will want to see with the ability to come home in between. Owner was always responsive when needed prior to arrival and she had a really nice guy meet us when we got there. Excellent and highly recommend 🇨🇮🇨🇮

Alle teh best,
We had a wonderful 25 days in Firenze. There is so much to see and do. Elise's apartment is perfectly placed. It is quiet. It is comfortable. It has everything needed. It is warm in Winter - multiple nights below freezing (including -9C) and some days with maxima of 0-2C were no problem. The kitchen is fully equipped (including oven and dishwasher). The location is great with cafés (Cafe Rainier and Ciccole were favourites) and restaurants very close. There is a Carrefour supermarket down the street. We would love to return to Firenze sometime and hopefully Elise will have us back.
