About the property

At the heart of Provence Gard, discover the old hotel taxes the village became family property since 1945.

Completely renovated in 2013 you will enjoy all the modern comforts in a place full of history and authenticity.

A terrace with its majestic olive, a fenced garden with a swimming pool, all located within 200 meters of shops.

Cavillargues has remained a small village worthy of Pagnol's novels. It plays petanque under the trees, one can enjoy a anisette on the shaded terrace of the village coffee while playing pinochle. To complete the atmosphere, Isa and Rene's café will offer every Friday night a picnic or grilling. Nothing is missing in this small village of 800 souls: coffee, grocery, butcher, bakery, doctor, pharmacy, physiotherapist, wine cooperative, restaurant, two hairdressers and beauty salon and massage where you can relax.

The nature lovers can explore the many hiking trails that abound all around the village, making cycling or bathing in rivers: the Roque sur Cèze, waterfalls Sautadet, gorges of Ardeche, Gardon.

Cavillargues is located on the route of the Côtes du Rhône wines where you can explore the vineyards that are the hallmark of the region.

Stylish home in classic French village

Beautifully styled house, fully equipped, plenty of living space, off street parking in the middle of the village.

Safe, secure pool area with child proof gate reached by footpath through garden. Pool is spotless and well equipped with loungers.

Large lawn and outside dining areas secure from pool area.

Local area full of vineyards, hiking trails, close to Ceze and Gardon rivers and pretty town of Uzes.

Friendly, helpful owners with quick and clear communication.

We loved it and hope to return.

verblijf in een typisch Zuid-Frans dorp

Het verblijf en huis waren uitstekend.

> Pluspunten:

Een charmant ogend, groot, ruim huis. Grote slaapkamers, met bergruimtes. Badkamer boven en beneden. Goed geoutilleerde keuken. Koele living.

Prachtige, verzorgde tuin met uitgebreid tuinmeubilair. Een uitstekend onderhouden zwembad, goed afgescheiden van de tuin (in geval er kleintjes zijn).

Het huis ligt op een worp van het centrale plein van het zeer charmante, middeleeuwse dorpje. Daar kan je elke ochtend vers brood bij de bakker en de krant vinden, een café, een kleine épicerie en vooral een uitstekende (!!!), artisanale beenhouwer.

Vanuit het dorp zijn talloze wandelingen te maken.

De straat van het huis mondt uit in de velden en wijngaarden.

Er is een Cave Cooperative in het dorp, met uitstekende locale wijn.

Vriendelijke verhuurders.

> Goed om te weten:

Voor wie op zoek is naar totale rust: het huis ligt in het dorp, dus geen totale stilte. Je hoort tractors en wat wagens passeren, wat buren die muziek maken en elke vrijdag in juli is er blijkbaar in het café één of andere animatie met muziek (maar niet later dan middernacht..). Alles blijft heel redelijk...

De tuin ligt niet achter of voor het huis, maar ernaast (via een binnenkoer te bereiken), er is dus geen rechtstreeks zicht op de tuin vanuit keuken of living. Er is wel een heel gezellig voortuintje met terras en olijfboom.

Er is altijd wel een plek met schaduw te vinden maar toch hadden we, gezien de hitte, graag wat meer beschutting buiten. De tuin mist een grote boom...

Très belle maison, piscine magnifique, au calme

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en août 2014 dans cette grande maison. Presque toutes les pièces ont été refaites et décorées avec goût. Tout le confort et la modernité avec le cachet de cette ancienne bâtisse. Une piscine magnifique, sans vis à vis. Village très calme. Les propriétaires ont été parfaits : charmants et arrangeants, que ce soit avant le séjour ou pendant, nous avons sentis qu'ils voulaient que l'on soient bien et cela a été le cas! Très propre. Je recommande sans problème la location.
