Lovely house with a beautiful view
Thank you for such a lovely stay in your beautiful house.
It has been easy to communicate with the owners who have always been very kind and quick to answer all our questions.
The house is very nicely decorated. And what can I say about the view!! We were waiting for the sunset every evening!
Beautiful house with bugs and mediocre host
The villa is beautiful and in a good location. It also has lots of space.
However, there was severe ant and bug infestation. When we told our host Ino, he said he would send someone to spray and that never happened.
The private beach is also beautiful, however, it requires you to climb down somewhat of a cliff. We had our 2 toddlers with us, and we worried about their safety as well as ours.
We found the hosts manager disappointing. On our first day he kindly gave my husband a ride to the rental car agency. But then he just drove away. There are very few street signs leading up to the villa which caused my husband to spend 2 hours trying to find his way back.
Thank you for your time to review the house.
The house is not full of bugs...We never had any incident like this in the past. As you mentioned on your last day of your stay the house was full of ants which is well known to everyone that they only come when people do not follow basic hygienic rules. Leaving pizza boxes on the floor and not take the rubbish outside the house obviously will attract ants. The house is situated on an island and therefore you need to respect the nature.
As for the semi private beach there are a few different gulfs to visit - some of them are not easily accessible by toddlers but one of them is quite easy to access. However if you don;t feel safe going there, Agios Prokopios beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island) is within 7 mins walking distance.
Finally, the guy that takes care of the house was kind enough to give your husband a ride to rent a car. He asked your husband to wait for him to take him back but your husband felt like he knew where the house was. He is not the host manager - please do not confuse the hospitality of my house with the facilities a hotel can offer.
Unfortunately, it is the first time ever that I am so disappointed with someone renting my house. You have been impossible to contact with, you haven;t follow basic hygienic rules and you have been completely irresponsible as you lost 2 of the keys causing me a big problem. I had to replace the key holes and the keys on the doors which were brand new.
lovely villa, great place
We had an excellent time in this property. We loved spending the evening on the terrace watching the sunset, preparing and sharing a meal; absolutely fabulous. The photos of the property are authentic, including the fantastic views of the sunset above Paros.
We received a very friendly welcome to a fully equipped house and kitchen with amble space for 3 adult couples. We couldn't have wished for anything except for a good set of kitchen knifes and chopping boards.
One hotel restaurant is 100 m away, we didn't try it. Small village with basic shops and lots of restaurants 2 km away, 30 minutes easy walk along quiet roads. Main town 3.7 km away, a couple of minutes by car or 50 minutes on foot, walking along the quiet road first, then along the beach. Two small beaches are 2 minutes away on foot, perfect for swimmers of all abilities, larger beaches everywhere. Highly recommended!
Beautiful sunsets and wonderful space for a comfortable stay
We loved our stay at Ino's Villa. It's in a fairly private neighborhood and lot, with beautiful views of the Aegean Sea below to the west. Small secluded beach just below is there for a quick dip, but it's just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches you'll find on all of Naxos, just to the south and down the other side of the hill. The water is absolutely beautiful. Nice sand.
Having a nice breeze and perfect weather the entire stay always helps.
The villa itself is clean and neat, nicely appointed in most ways. Smallish kitchen for a large group, but we managed well enough with 8 adults. 2 spacious bedrooms with private outside back access bracket the original house, where 3 more smaller bedrooms are located on the lower level.
They were all nice, but it was really great to have the smallest available for dressing room, addition clothing and luggage storage, and unencumbered access to the back yard and the "outside only" access of the 2 bedroom suites on either side in back. Nicely appointed bathrooms with great water pressure. A minor plumbing issues was attended to very promptly.
The sunset views are spectacular facing Paros to the west. The top veranda area is quite spacious, and a large table will comfortably accommodate 10 for meals and quality conversation time with family and friends. And/or sunset "happy hours", of course! Smaller breakfast area just outside the main back entrance on the top level is great for breakfast. Modest charcoal grill out front and to the side worked fine.
There is ample parking, unimpeded access for two small cars (shaded) but room for several more if needed.
About 10 minutes from Naxos Town center by car....close enough, but no too close, for quiet and privacy. About 5-6 minutes to a good market.
Could use an upgrade with the refrigerator for more space and ice making ability. It's a bit small because of the size limitations of the kitchen. Could really use some good, sharp knives, grill utensils, and a few more med/large salad or serving bowls. Everything else was just fine. All together, minor inconveniences.
We'd come back again, and hope to do so sometime in the future. Had a great week there.
A beautiful dream villa with the most amazing sunset
Big villa with everything you need and close to beautiful beaches. Mary our host was very helpful and welcoming. We loved our time there and were sad to leave. Definitely recommend this place and would love to come back. Great island with plenty to do and the food is amazing!
Beautiful view from a great villa
The view over Paros & the wonderful sunsets are remarkable. The villa is well equipped, in easy walking distance of almost everything but far enough away from the town to be quiet.
It is located in Stelida, Agios Prokopis, next to Cavos hotel.
