Overview

About the property

This historic home features a fully remodeled setting with the old 1880's Victorian Charm. It features smart house technology with automatic lights and temperature control with close proximity to Historic Downtown Augusta and the Augusta National Golf Course (home of the Masters). This 2,100 square foot home sleeps up to four with two private king size bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, one half bath for guest, and has plenty of entertaining space. The entertaining space includes a living room with cinema like experience, wet-bar, a separate formal dining room, eat-in kitchen, private back deck w/ grill, and a hot tub in a fenced in privacy area (great for Fido). Extras included are power, 24/7 security monitoring, high speed internet, WiFi, Cable TV, Amazon TV, and Blue Ray Player.

This property offers the convenience of being downtown, but the space to entertain (unlike most downtown rentals). It sits on two lots and features a large parking lot that can park 7+ vehicles. Own an electric car...we have got you covered there too. This property offers a 220 Voltec Charging Station. The property is located two blocks from the new Richmond County Sheriff's Office and is in a very secure area of downtown. There is the old Richmond County Jail across the street (which is now closed) and an old bail bonds office is next door (which is now residential housing and no longer a bail bonds business - Google Maps Not Updated). There is a park across the street for children to play and dogs to walk (May Park) and the Augusta River Walk is just minutes away.

Beautiful and clean home that had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Back yard is a nice oasis with the best hot tub we have ever used. Owner was very attentive.

Beds are very comfortable. Backyard was a great place to hang out and well suited for our dog. It's a unique house with old charm. We were well taken care of and the owner did awesome with communicating with us before and during our stay! Will stay again!

It Felt Like Home

  • 5 of 5

I recently enjoyed a weekend stay in this rental and really enjoyed it. I frequently visit Augusta and this home is in a area close to all of the things important to me (shopping dining ect). The home is full of amenities and the owner is easy to reach for any questions that may arise. I especially enjoyed the hot tub in the back yard, the large tv entertainment system and all the other appliances are top of the line. From the other reviews I found a small but quaint little pub that has local entertainment performing. Its called the Fox's Lair and I would also recommend visiting there as well if you simply want to unwind and relax.

In closing, I really enjoyed my visit and I hope to be able to rent again.

Thanks Blake

Absolutely Amazing

  • 5 of 5

This house was beautiful! It has everything you could need while there, being outside was my favorite part with the hot tub, patio, grill, and propane fire pit! Cleanliness was exceptional! Blake makes sure that you dont encounter any problems, and he will help you if you do. And the kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need!!

The house is in walking distance to a small, neat place called the foxes lair which had some great live music. Kayaking is a great option for entertainment during your stay!!
