Take advantage of our new lower rate structure for an exciting getaway to beautiful Saint Simons Island at our adorable and unique oceanfront cottage.

SEACLUSION is the upper floor of a unique two-unit oceanfront vacation property on St. Simons Island, accessible via an outdoor stairway to the upper deck. SEACLUSION TOO (Unit 2) is the lower unit (VRBO listing #683375), a barrier-free condo at ground level. The floor plans of both condos are identical, and both are beautifully furnished and appointed. If one is not available, be sure to check on the other listing.

SEACLUSION is located directly on the sandy shore of the Atlantic Ocean, within one-half mile or a 10-minute walk to the village/pier area. Our home has recently been renovated and features a DIRECT and UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, the shipping channel, and Jekyll Island. You will have peace and quiet in your private beachfront backyard while enjoying 180-degree beautiful ocean views from your living room, open kitchen, and dining room through two sets of big glass sliders. You can see Jekyll Island and Cumberland Island from the patio and living room, and throughout the day you can experience the ever-changing tidal patterns that come with the ocean's gentle ebb and crashing flow on the rocks in front of SEACLUSION.

Enjoy waking up and walking out to your private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, feeling the wonderful ocean breezes above your own private white sand beach.

Sit back and relax.

Watch the ships and dolphins go by.

Sit in the sun and get a tan.

Read a book.

Go biking and walking on the beautiful flat sand beach, and spend tranquil moments wading and fishing in the waters close to shore.

Each unit features two bedrooms with comfortably appointed king beds and an open dining room/living room with a sofa sleeper with unobstructed ocean views . A queen-sized air mattress is also available. Two bathrooms feature a tub with shower and walk-in shower, respectively. Renovations to the kitchen, baths, flooring, windows, walls, etc., include comfortable furnishings, all tile and wood flooring, both air conditioning and ceiling fans, and a laundry room. We have a flat screen t.v. in both the living room and master bedroom.

Plus, we include all the toys you will need to make your vacation fun--fishing poles, bicycles, beach toys, beach chairs , and much more (renters to supply their own beach towels). We also have all the necessities--dishwasher, pots, pans, silverware, blender, towels, linens, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, spices, charcoal grill, etc.

Seaclusion is situated in one of the most desirable areas on St. Simons Island, where you can walk in a few minutes to the charming village with its fine dining establishments, lively bars, and unique boutiques, or you can rent a golf cart and tour this picturesque Southern island. And--for the golfer--St. Simons has plenty of challenging courses to satisfy all who play the game. Let us book a tee-time for you!

Please note summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday.

About Heather Simpson

Brian and Trish Law (from Bay City, Michigan) and their ever-expanding family (3 daughters and sons-in-law, with 7 grandchildren) bought this oceanfront property in December of 2014. The elder Laws met at Michigan State University and are, therefore, avid Spartan fans. They have always enjoyed creating warm and cozy places to entertain family and friends and have loved turning this property into a space where they--and their guests--will make wonderful memories!

Brian and Trish fell in love with St. Simons Island while helping Brian's sister, Jacquie, find a home to buy on the island and subsequently discovered this property on the beach with the "awesome view" and couldn't resist it's potential. They have been renovating it ever since! (Stay tuned for the kitchen renovation, which will be completed by late January 2016!)

What makes this condo unique

One of the most significant benefits of SEACLUSION ( as well as the lower unit, SEACLUSION TOO) is its location. Situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean on its own private white sand beach adjacent to the public access bridge to the water, in a quiet setting away from traffic, SEACLUSION is also located between two clusters of excellent restaurants and bars, about a half-mile walk in each direction. It is also just blocks from the Neptune Park Fun Zone, where the whole family can "putt, plunge, and play!"

Quaint little gem

We loved our stay at Seaclusion. House: Everything was in working order and comfortable. We found the beds comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for basic meals when we did not feel like leaving. We enjoyed dolphin sightings every other day as well as watching cargo ships coming into port. We also went ghost crab hunting at night. The beach stretches out in both directions in front of the property at low-tide, and at high tide there is still plenty of room for beachgoers. Because there are not any hotels nearby, we found only a few locals or other renters on the beaches and most days felt like we had a private beach. Location: About 3 blocks into Pier Village with lots of shops and restaurants if you need a break from the sun. There are also kayak/SUP rentals that can be delivered to the beach. It's about a 5 minute drive to the grocery store and additional restaurants like Southern Soul. We made a 1/2 day trip over to Driftwood Beach on Jekyll island and visited the Sea Turtle Center as well.

Highly recommend this unit for a quiet and low-key vacation on the beach. If you are looking for laid-back beach time with a quiet island feel, look no further. Thanks Heather and team!

*Our trip was cut a day short due to Hurricane Irma, but Heather was quick to communicate and keep us updated, as well as make up for the lost time. Would definitely recommend her and her team!

A wonderful semi private Beach House with the perfect VIEW!!

Dear Heather,

My Husband, Son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at you lovely Beach House! The large front windows giving us a beautiful view no matter where we stood or sat was sooo enjoyable!!

Our adult son loves to deep sea fish and it was so perfect for him to walk out with his equipment to fish to his heart's content. The Island of course offers deep sea or local fishing excursions and so we booked that too prior to our stay. your notebook on coffee table was informative, especially the history!! Thank you for that.

My husband and I are fine diners and always enjoy Palmers. Barbara Jean"s and Iguana's are our other two favs. Shopping always fun On Mallory and the Pier area perfect sunset locations.. Our Most enjoyable place since we have two mini Yorkies is THE ISLAND DOG!! LYNN RENTED US ALL OUR NEEDS FOR THE DOGS TO MAKE OUR STAY JUST PERFECT AS WELL AS THEIRS. Also she has anything you could possibly want for your pets. Sooooo fun .THANK YOU very much FOR ALLOWING US TO BRING OUR FUR BABIES!! They enjoyed the daily bike rides in their caravan that we attached to the back of our bikes. Watching the sunsets 3 minutes from the house. The dolphins gave us a show every day!

Your home was very cozy and comfy, the furnishings very nice. Kitchen stocked really well! The steps at the bed was just what I needed :) Air conditioning was fab. WiFi was a little issue. Needing to ask the folks downstairs a few times to reset it when they came back. My Husband does work on vacations so he needed to have the access. He downloaded his work stuff from his cell to use it. But it was My computer that I needed to call the neighbors for. Other than that we enjoyed it all! The front lawn and sand area was fun to play bocce and other games. We miss it already Ms. Heather!! We will certainly consider booking again next vacation! Perfect vacation at seaclusion

We loved seaclusion. The view was unbelievable, all you could see was the beautiful ocean. I enjoyed watching the dolphin play in the sea. House was immaculate. We had some minor problems but,they were taken care of immediately. We'll be back

What a great time!!!!

We had such fun. The house was just perfect for the 4 of us. And the location was awesome! Everything was really clean and well kept. We could of used a few more towels & some kitchen dish cloths but other than that everything was just amazing. We would definitely return to this beautiful home!!

Great View

My family and I had a great time! Watched the dolphins swimming by and the ships passing through. My only complaint would be to please get a newer router. Internet was sketchy, in and out, and had to go to the downstairs apartment to get it fixed. A newer router would fix this one flaw. Otherwise was a great vacation!
