Rustic look, with all the comforts of home.

I rented the house for a week, invited family and different groups of friends to come and go throughout the week. It was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable, and fun time I've had! The cabin is located in the woods, but minutes away from fabulous wineries, the beach, and a variety of outstanding restaurants. Going to Geneva on the lake, was like going back in time. From relaxing at the state park beach, resale shopping, or having a phosphate at the old fashion drugstore, it was like the clock stopped for the week and I experienced for the first time what it meant to live in the moment!

I came back relaxed, happy, and refreshed.

Property was amazing!!!

  • 5 of 5

The property was great! Very spacious and clean. We made a fire almost every night. We played cards and games and ate out on the porch. Unfortunately too many things closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, especially restaurants. Wineries we're really nice, ate at 3 different ones and stopped at a couple more. Not a whole lot do do other than wineries, we did go to the beach at state park and down to Geneva on the Lake. Overall we had a good time.

A comfortable cabin and a lovely outdoors area, close to shopping and attractions

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for 4 nights as a multi-generational family vacation.

Inside: Comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen and great Wi-Fi. There was a large dining table which was great for playing cards and games.

Outside: This was the best part. A huge, deep porch with plenty of seating so you could be outside rain or shine. There was also a very nice fire-pit and lovely landscaping.

Nearby amenities: It felt like you were off in the wilderness but there was plenty to do just a short drive away, such as Geneva State Park (with a beach), wineries with great food, and the Geneva Lake tourist strip. If you forgot anything, there was a grocery store just 5 minutes away. The covered bridge is just a quick walk down the street and the river is easily accessible.

Very average

  • 3 of 5

Beautiful setting. Very disappointed in the kitchen and living room furniture. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The kitchen had very dim lighting and cooking utensils old and worn out. Overall it was ok but this house could really use some better lighting.
