200m from Colosseum Flat: 2 bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen. 4-6 p, wifi, ac
This charming and cosy apartment is located in the most exclusive Rome historical centre, in a perfect location to visit Rome major touristic sites: the Coliseum, Nerone's Domus Aurea, the Basilica of S. Clemente, the Foro romano.
It is a comfortable 1 floor flat for 4 to 6 people, there is a lovely living room with a double sofa bed, two charming double bedrooms, with 2 single beds each (both can become double)one in the basement, the other one near the livingroom, a very modern bathroom with a comfortable shower and bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a table good for 6-8 persons, from there you can go in a fresh and sunny terrace-garden where you can relax in the evening after having walked all day long, or sun bath at lunch time if you decide to go back home for a siesta.....
Air conditioned but frankly speaking there is not much need of it since the rooms of the old roman palaces are fresh in summer and worm in winter, the ceiling is made of original terracotta 'voltine' recently restored and the floor is also in terracotta. It was completely renovated in Feb. 2012. wifi internet 24h free
Restaurants: Luzi and le Naumachie in Via Celimontana, Quattro e quattr'otto and the pizzeria I rioni in Via dei Santi quattro, La taverna dei Quaranta in Via Claudia. All walking distance!

I started this vacation apartment rental business few years ago just for fun. Now, ten years later, I manage several properties, the majority of which are nearby the heart of Rome. My flats for rent are, with no exception, in pristine conditions. I visit all of them on a regular basis, to ensure my guests will receive the highest level of hospitality and the attention to every single detail. I am proud to say that I always strive to personally answer to all the emails I receive from future and past customers and take every question or request very seriously. I look forward to seeing you here in Rome, the Eternal City.

Location location location , perfect for us so quite in the middle of the city. Luzzis restaurant was fabulous and very affordable, good fun to. Taxi from rank at the Colosseum to Spanish Steps €15, . The Colosseum Garden the out side space made it for us, very very clean, and comfy beds no complaints at all, gave a 4 because needs a little up dating but nothing really bad, would stay there again with out hesitation. Perfect perfect perfect Rome on your doorstep.
Our Favorite VRBO Yet!
What a perfectly lovely experience it was to stay at this VRBO. It is a beautiful apartment in excellent condition and very clean. The layout is excellent- perfect for a family of four. The patio is lovely too with lots of plants and privacy. It is situated on a quiet street with great restaurants (try the pizza place Li Rioni!) and a gelato shop. There is also an amazing vegetable market and a grocery store. Perfect for having breakfasts and making lunches at the apartment. The location in Rome is conveniently close to the centre of it all. We walked to most places or used the subway located nearby, or Uber. The contact person, Alessandra, is very lovely and helpful; even arranging transportation to and from the airport for us at a reasonable price. I highly recommend choosing this apartment for your trip to Rome!
Property was in good condition, extremely convenient and perfect for a family of 5.
Alex had Irwin waiting for us and checked in later than expected. They were very gracious. The property was in a good condition, clean, very charming and perfect as a base for a family of 5. Best of all Irwin had a spot waiting for us that allowed us to park right on the block for free during our stay. Would book again next time!
Lovely flat, perfect location!
This is a great location, very close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Also very easy travel connections via bus, tram or underground train. Lots of great (and not expensive!) restaurants nearby - try the lasagne at Trattoria Luzzi or pizza from Li Rioni either less than 50m from the front door and very reasonably priced. Also the fruit stall right outside the front door (every day apart from Sunday) is a great place to buy fruit & vegetables if you’re eating in.
We loved our visit to Rome - my first time but my wife’s third. We’ll definitely be back!
Apart from the usual attractions (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Bocca di Verita, etc., all of which were overrun with tourists) a particular highlight was Ostia Antica, which is an easy train ride away (€1.50/adult, kids travel free) and was much less crowded and not too expensive. Also walking along part of the Appian Way near the catacombs was amazing and not far out of the centre of Rome.
Overall, a great location and very comfortable apartment that is perfect for any family.
Spent 5 nights here for my Husbands 30th birthday and it was really easy to get around the city. The place is right by the colosseum. The metro is also right there. Plenty of places to eat which are right out the door. There’s also a 24 hr grocery store right there too. Very convenient. The place was very nice and clean. Alexandra was great. She arrange for a pick up for us at the airport and when we got there gave us lots of tips for what was around the place and how to get around. She was very helpful. This place also has a little patio which was nice because my parents came and they smoke. If your not sure where to stay I would recommend this place for sure!
Family of six stayed here on our first trip to Rome. Location is off the main roads. Very quiet, even with disposal truck coming by in the early morning. Very close to grocery store, restaurants, metro, and bus lines. The flat is small (two bedrooms and a sitting room with sofa bed), and with four kids ages: 7, 9, 11 and 12, it was tight but ultimately fine for us. We cooked every day in the mornings and a few times at night. It was the perfect place for us during our first stay in Rome.
The metro station Colosseo is 200 m from the apartment, taxi and bus station less than 100 m. But you can avoid taking pubblic transport and walk all day long....
Restaurants like Luzi, pizzerie le Naumachie or I Rioni are rownd the corner in via Celimontana, special also the roman food of the Taverna dei Quaranta in Via Claudia with pergola and view of the Colosseo. The Bar antiluzi just in front of the apartment offers "cappuccino and cornetto" in the sun in small tables along the street, you cannot miss it!
Shopping in the street and nearby: Italian fashion, food, handicraft.
