Beautiful, spacious villa, with well maintained pool, and gorgeous view.
Lovely villa, and host very amenable, on hand to sort any queries, give advice etc. Villa is beautiful, and spacious, with a well maintained pool, and a gorgeous view of the surrounding Tuscan landscape and olive groves.
We had a very comfortable stay here, exploring Tuscany in the early part of the day, then relaxing by the pool all afternoon.
Not far from Lucca, so plenty of opportunities to venture out: drive to Lucca, and hire bikes to explore this picturesque town; nice beach (45 minute easy drive), with restaurants; visit Pisa early to avoid the crowds, etc. Giorgio will have lots of ideas for day trips.
thanks a lot for your kind evaluation. Also you and your family have been perfect guests and i gave the same evaluation on HomeAway. Paola and i wish to you and your family every good and we hope really to meet you again in a future. Ciao.

Georgio is the perfect host who is always on hand if you need anything.
Highly recommend his property .
Beautiful house and fantastic pool area!
We had a great stay at this beautiful house. It’s in a great position looking out over the Tuscan hills and very easy drive in to Lucca, which is an amazing town. Giorgio is a fantastic host and takes very good care of his guests. He also has a lot of good suggestions for things to do and see.
Dear Eva and Tobias, thanks for your very, very appreciated review. Also you were perfect guests!! Paola and i hope really to meet you again in a future. Please give a big kiss to your splendid sons and a warm greeting to Eva's mother. Ciao.

Comfortable house, beautiful location, friendly host!
Giorgio was a great host making sure we had all the information we needed ahead of our visit, and that we were comfortable during our stay in his beautiful house. He kindly welcomed us to the property and showed us around before we tucked into the local cakes which he had provided along with his own olive oil. Luckily for us Giorgio could speak good English and was very helpful advising us about places to visit.
The house had plenty of room for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers), with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and living/dining room which were all well equipped and pretty. There's also a utility room for washing etc. The pool was excellent! It was plenty big enough to comfortably share with the family staying in the property next door (who had been before) and set within a garden which overlooks olive groves and rolling Tuscan hillsides, with very few properties within sight.
The house is about 5m from Lucca. Lucca old town is lovely with many pretty streets and piazzas, plenty of choice of good places to eat, many towers to climb and beautiful city walls to cycle or walk along. You really need a car for this property but Lucca, Pisa and Florence are all comfortable drives from it.
Yes we would definitely go again! Thank you Giorgio.
A perfect holiday villa in stunning surroundings
We have just arrived home after ten wonderful days at Casal di Mammoli. We were met at the gates by Giorgio the owner who gave us the warmest welcome. He ensured that we had everything we needed and called in every few days to make sure that we were happy recommending restaurants and supermarkets, all within a mile or two of the house. The house was large and airy and the garden and pool were fabulous. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We felt that we had the best of both worlds feeling that we were tucked away in the Tuscany hills with wonderful views but only fifteen minutes from the beautiful old town of Lucca. Thank you Giorgio and Paola, we shall definitely be returning!
Loved this beautiful house
The house has been perfectly refurbished and it is very well appointed. We loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood away from the traffic in Lucca yet only 15 minutes from the old city. The owner Giorgio welcomed us the day we checked in even though it was late in the afternoon. He took the time to show us around the property and even brought us typical Luccchese bread and a bottle of olive oil from his olive grove. Enjoyed good meals at La Fenice close to the house. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house.
A proposal for those who love good food: why not have fun in the kitchen and learn traditional dishes from Lucca to taste, then, during the winter in memory of a beautiful land and a nice vacation? Whatever time of year you can follow a cooking course lasting quttro lessons organized for you by the famous restaurant 'Cantine Bernardini', located in a historic building in the center of Lucca. Available for more information.
