About the property

Old house of 1800, renovated in the year 2013.

It is an old farmhouse from whose renovation was carried out in full respect of the original building has been converted into two apartments having a similar size and structure: The Jasmine - one visible Nellla photo gallery - and Il Forno -. The apartments have separate entrances, placed on different sides of the house and are each provided with a ground floor with kitchen, dining room and living room, a place to work and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor Jasmine has two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, while The oven has two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor each apartment has a large bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. E 'can see many pictures of the two apartments and the surrounding areas to the following address: GOOGLE: www. Casaldimammoli. en. In the peace and nature, and near major cities, Lucca (6 km), Florence, Pisa, Siena and Versilia V

Ideal for those who love the old buildings restored in their most characteristic aspects and made more pleasant to live through the benefits of modernity. Olive and cypress trees characterize the landscape. From the pool you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley. The rooms are air conditioned and some decorated with period furniture, all equipped, however, with wardrobes. The ceilings with wooden beams and old bricks are typical of the old rustic Tuscan. The kitchen is spacious and functional, as is the large living room, both with stunning views of the valley.

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

The home was perfect for us! The house was roomy, clean, air conditioners worked impeccably, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were comfortable as well with good water pressure. The pool was perfect for the hot days. It was clean and maintained well, and the lounge chairs made the pool experience a perfect spot to relax and take in the amazing views. Giorgio and his wife were very hospitable and made sure that we were comfortable. The location of the home was away from the busy bustle so it was quiet, but then it was super easy to get to the center of Lucca or anywhere in Tuscany. The listing description is accurate. I highly recommend renting this property and enjoy your time in Italy!

Superb Family Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Our one week family break at Il Forno simply wasn't long enough! First of all the house provided the perfect accommodation with 4 bedrooms, perfect for our 2 daughters and their Grandmother and the air conditioning was a bonus. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen and our cooking was greatly enhanced by Giorgio's gift of his locally grown olive oil. Whilst on food theme the local shop providing fresh Tuscan produce was within walking distance and of course Giorgio's almost daily cake delivery was much appreciated by us all.

Our girls made great use of the excellent pool and the garden with high quality loungers was a great place for relaxation and enjoying views of this beautiful valley.

Lucca was about 20 minutes away, a great place for gelato and walking the ancient walls is such a treat. The location whilst quiet was well placed for driving to Florence, Pisa and Barga and you could still be back in time for a swim!

To call this apartment is an understatement as it is a beautifully and thoughtfully restored Tuscan villa albeit consisting of 2 properties.

I highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Thank you Giorgio and Paolo

Loved this beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

The house has been perfectly refurbished and it is very well appointed. We loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood away from the traffic in Lucca yet only 15 minutes from the old city. The owner Giorgio welcomed us the day we checked in even though it was late in the afternoon. He took the time to show us around the property and even brought us typical Luccchese bread and a bottle of olive oil from his olive grove. Enjoyed good meals at La Fenice close to the house. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home with charming hosts

  • 5 of 5

What more can be said? This house is absolutely beautiful and the hosts, Giorgio and his wife Paola, were wonderfully welcoming and helpful (and happily provided us with a bottle of olive oil from their own olive trees!). The house has been charmingly restored and suited our needs perfectly. The house (which is actually two apartments) is extremely spacious, with a kitchen outfitted with all the necessary amenities/appliances. The house overlooks a charming valley with views (overlooking olive trees and surrounding villas) all the way down to Lucca. The house is ideally located about 10 minutes outside of Lucca in the hills of Tuscancy. All the major tourist sites (Pisa, Florence, Siena, etc.) are within an hour or so of driving, at most. Nothing negative to report about our experience here at all - in fact, our children befriended the neighbor's kids and played soccer for several hours.

Wonderful house, excellent view, very helpful hosts

  • 5 of 5

We (eight grownups and eight small children) rented the whole house (both apartments) for one week.

We all found it a wonderful place for our big family vacation.

The house is newly and beautifully renovated. The garden is full of flowers and has a great view of Tuscan hills, and a nice, child-friendly pool. The house is only a short distance by car from the centre of the charming Tuscan city of Lucca.

The owners, Giorgio and Paola, are in a league of their own! Very welcoming and sweet, and extremely helpful in all manner of ways. For example, Giorgio spent several hours helping us out when we had trouble with one of our cars; getting the car to a mechanic, helping explaining the problem and so on.

We highly recommend this place, and would love to return.
