Quiet solitude

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin was just what we needed after 2 weeks touring Glacier and Waterton Parks. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings just enjoying the wildlife...Mama Robin sitting on her nest, the deer wandering over for a drink of water in the nearby creek and listening to the lodgepole pines knocking together in the breeze. The cabin had all the amenities necessary for our 2 day stay, was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed watching a couple DVD movies from the extensive collection offered. Although we did not drink the wine left by the owners it was a very nice gesture for their guests.

A small suggestions might be to have a few road maps and brochures covering the surrounding area like the ones provided for snowmobile trails. On a day trip from Holland Lake we did take Boy Scout Rd back to Seeley and enjoyed the diversion immensely. Also Lindy's Steak House for dinner was a real treat.

I hope in the near future the folks across the creek build a nice cabin to replace their trailer. It is rather an eyesore on the beautiful surroundings but did not spoil our visit. Book this cabin if you enjoy the outdoors.

Wonderful get away!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent a few days exploring the Seeley/Swan valley and had a terrific time! The cabin is located In a very picturesque spot along the river and was very comfortable for 2. Greeted with a bottle of local wine, plenty of DVD's if you are stuck inside for awhile. Fire pit outside for a campfire, chairs and picnic table off the front porch. Very nice! Pam and Gary were great to work with. Thanks so much!

Wonderfully Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

I loved everything about this stay! Such a wonderful location- so peaceful right on the river. Greeted with a bottle of wine, the accommodations were clean and everything was well-stocked. A few little niceties that were unexpected were a cast iron pan, a crock pot, paper towels, pantry items such as salt, pepper, oil, sugar, tinfoil and baggies just to name a few. Three camping chairs and a little outdoor table were a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of cut firewood, although I would recommend bringing an axe.

It was a wonderful and relaxing stay! I was especially thankful that I was allowed to bring my Fur-Baby along with me ❤. Thank you, Pam and Gary!
