Just 1 minute walk from the sea and five minutes walk from Enterprise Beach, arguably the best beach in Barbados, the beauty of the area will delight. The location exudes a relaxing atmosphere & benefits from both stunningly beautiful scenery and international cuisine restaurants, all in reach, with a wide variety of bars over looking the Ocean. Barbados Golf Club is just 5 minutes drive away, the airport is 10 minutes and the world renowned Windsurfing and Kite surfing Club Mistral, is just 5 minutes drive. Consisting of 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (the master with Ensuite) and a family bathroom. Downstairs is open plan and airy with WIFI Internet, satellite TV, DVD & CD / MP3 Player/Radio, a fully fitted kitchen, with washing machine, cooker & microwave. A breezy veranda looks out over the landscaped gardens. Maid service is provided.

The garden, is by far the the largest on the small gated development and offers privacy The property also has an attractive, breezy veranda. On the veranda there is an outdoor table & 4 chairs. The gardens are colouful and landscaped and attract the local humming birds. We provide a Meet and Greet service at the property. For an additional cost (approx. $20 USD) a taxi can be arranged to pick you up from the airport.

What a find!!!!

We stayed in this villa for 5 weeks with our toddler and some friends came for a week. Perfect location for the beach and oistins and was lovely walking to beach with our surfboards for a surf. The villa itself was perfect for us and had a lovely terrace and garden for bbqs in the evening and air con in the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and an industrial size washing machine!! Everyone on the street was so friendly and the neighbours even gave us a paddling pool! Ursula was amazing amazing resource to have so locally and couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating to us and really helped make our holiday - anything we needed she was there. Would definitely stay there Again :)

Great location for Miami beach, local markets and shops.

"Allamanda" is nicely furnished with an adaquantly equiped kitchen for four people.

Beach towels and two beach chairs supplied.

Unfortuately "Allamanda" lacks those little niceties to make it great.

No internet- Very useful to check-out restaurants and places to visit (highly recommend Hunts Gardens)

No small libruary of used books, DVDs, CDs. No toilet paper or soap in the downstairs washroom. Not even a half used bottle of washing-up liquid ect.

Some milk and a couple of bottles of beer, maybe a little fruit would make a nice welcome. All thing lacking to make a good first impression.

Fortunately we know the area well and have plenty of choices for our next visit.

Great location great property

Second time have stayed at this property and would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Property was clean and tidy and a maid visited called every 3-4 days.

Although you can catch a bus along the south coast and up the west coast we hired a car and took the opportunity to explore the island which is split into 11 parishes (10 Saints and One Church). Don't forget the east coast including amongst others Crane beach, Bottom Bay and Bathsheba then carry on up through "Scotland" as there's a great little cove at Sea View at the top of the east coast and then along the north coast. The beaches here can be deserted and they're stunning..

Nearer to home take the opportunity to walk down to miami beach early in the morning to take a dip and walk down just before six to see the sun set.

Must finish by saying the locals are very very friendly and love to talk.

lovely house

I highly recomend this lovely house;close to best beach in Barbados. Inside the house is beautifully furnished and comfy and it is a pleasure to sit in the garden. Quiet and away from other holiday makers just a handful of residents and other rentees geting away from the crowded hotels.

Great house for families

The house is great and we can really recommend it. It is well planned with a big living room and kitchen on the bottom floor with two bedrooms upstairs. There is also a nice patio and a small garden where you can sit in the shade most of the day if you want. The house was very clean and the maid also cleaned it for us every Wednesday. The kitchen was well equipped even if some of the utensils felt a bit out dated. The surroundings were quiet and we were never disturbed by neighbours or other noise during our visit. Ursula and her husband are looking after the house and lives just a few houses away. They are really nice people and helped us with any questions we had and made sure everything worked well with the house.

Car: recommended

The property is located in a quiet, safe and secure, small gated community, on the south of the island, in one of the most prestigious areas of Christ Church, Barbados. At the end of the drive the nearest Beach is located, Cotton Bay, along with spectacular views of the coast. A 5 minute walk takes you to Enterprise Beach, and a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive takes you to the famous fish market town of Oistins, where Supermarkets, bars and souvenir shops are located, along with a bank and other facilities. The popular, St Lawrence Gap is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride, where lively nightlife and numerous restaurants can be found. As you will see from the map to the left, Grantley Adams International Airport is conveniently close.
