You'll love this quiet 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo, with a loft. It's great for a family holiday or getaway with friends. The loft adds the option for a bit of separation, if desired. Creature comforts of granite counters and kitchen upgrades will have you feeling a little fancy inside the walls of this great unit!

Bedroom #1 is a king bed off to the side on the main floor; bedroom #2 is in the open-air loft. Both bedrooms have flatscreen cable TVs with DVD players. There are also 2 full bathrooms, 1 on each level.

Just 25km (15 miles) from Banff, your Canmore home offers you easy access to explore both mountain hotspots. One of the best aspects of the this condo, is the outdoor swimming pool, open year-round. You'll love the post-card views! Three outdoor hot-tubs and an exercise room round out this perfect mountain getaway.

I truly love mountain life. Growing up on a cattle ranch, it was tough to find elevation to climb up or ski down. I moved west a few years ago, and have found much joy and contentment through having mountain adventures be an accessible part of my life. High spec property in nice location

The property was beautiful, really nice furniture, kitchen and bathrooms and layout was good. We slept 6 adults very comfortably and enjoyed the hot tub in the Grizzly Lodge which is just down a flight of stairs. We also used the pool a few times. Downtown Canmore is just a very nice walk away and so we had very need to use cars while there. Plenty of underground parking which was great.

One criticism is that the balcony is too small and can really only comfortably seat two adults and secondly although the rental included a cleaning fee, guests have to bring down their own recycling and trash to the garbage room on the 2nd floor upon departing. This was a bit of a pain.

Overall, a great stay though!

Great Relaxing Girls Weekend

Great unit for space and amenities, however careful on your reservation!

The listing was as advertised with great room and amenities included with the unit. Unit was very clean and well maintained despite some patches in the walls, well skiers are rough on rentals, I guess. The balcony does not get any sun as it is an inside unit facing your neighbours which are only 20 feet away looking into your unit. This may not be an issue for some people, but it is nice to sit out after a ski day. Hot tub is very nice and only one floor down. Not too busy and not much noise from it. Salt water pool was also very nice as well. Other issues with difficult garage entrance etc. have been covered in other reviews and not an owner problem.

Big issue was our arrival, in that despite being the biggest renter of the season (full 2 week stay) we had no reservation upon arrival. Carrie had not called it in or whatever, but we had no reservation. I called Carrie right away and got her voicemail. Luckily, I had the reservation on my phone and they let us in and indicated that Carrie must have been too busy and forgot? I have yet to hear from Carrie via phone call nor email. I don't understand this as she was very responsive before we arrived to the rental. Perhaps she had a family emergency I am not aware of, but I have yet to hear from her.

Based on this I would not recommend this unit as there seems to be a disconnect between booking and a reservation upon arrival which after a long trip I should not have to deal with!

My apologies for that discomfort. To clarify, the reservation is confirmed via HomeAway and myself; the front desk folks are just the key issuers. You'd never be left high and dry, as your reservation is verifiable in different ways - as you were able to do with showing our email exchange. I hope the pleasure of a mountain vacation was restorative for you and yours.

Warm and cozy getaway condo

One of the nicest location to spend winter break with kids enjoying the pools and the scenary views this village can provide beside all the winterfun. Our host Carrie was nice to us, booking this condo and our stay was just straight and perfect!

Great! It was a nice clean place and we really enjoyed it.

The condo unit itself was nice and spacious. Clean and comfortable. Everything was in good shape. Location is superb and we really like the outdoor pool and hot tubs. I have already recommended this condo and Lodges at Canmore to a friend.


More cutlery in kitchen (limited)

TV in loft bedroom was only black and white.

More towels and linens need to be supplied.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for this feedback. I hadn't realized the cutlery had gotten low, and now thanks to your tip, the cutlery is in abundance! I checked into the TV as well and the colour/cable are up and running... I'm unsure what happened when you were there. Sorry all the same though... A vintage experience isn't what you signed up for. Towels and linens for 6 are provided in the condo, and there is a washer/dryer in the unit for ease of laundering. I hope you didn't get short-changed somehow? I do recommend people throw in a couple personal beach towels, if they are frequent pool users. Thanks again for choosing to stay in my condo. I hope you had a great trip to the Bow Valley.
