Spacious and beautiful

Lanark is a quiet and nice village between Glasgow and Edinburgh. New Lanark is a very interesting and well presented atraction. The house is in the centre of the village, close to many shops and services. It is well fournished and it is spacious and has a lot of light. It's easy to park arround. We were welcomed by owners.

Great stay in a very spacious and well equipped apartment

This is a really nice apartment in an excellent location in central Lanark but on a quiet street. The apartment is spacious and decorated in a modern style, with all mod cons and nice touches such as tea and coffee and biscuits. Each room is stunning, and we all loved it. There are restaurants and shops nearby but there is no noise problem. There is free public parking a couple of minutes away, also the train station is about 5 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

the flat has all you need for a great break away and has recently been refurbished to a high speck

it was a good 3 days away we were just up in Lanark to visit friends and family but we did go into Glasgow for the day we used the train as its nice and easy right on the door step so to speak my 10 year old grandson had a great time and we just cannot find anything to fault with the flat in the wellgate its central for shops pubs and diners and not far from the railway station this is our third time of using it and we will be back thank you rob wilson newbigging by the sea.

Central, comfortable, clean.

The apartment is very comfortable, in fact a three bedroom house above a restaurant. Very clean, everything worked, heating very efficient. June had left Christmas decorations and fresh flowers which were very much appreciated. Very central in Lanark one minute walk to the centre of the high street. There was scant noise from the restaurant, it was a very quiet street. Ideally situated to explore Scotland. We stayed a week and had a 10 out of 10 stay. We would recommend this apartment to our friends.

Lanark is a small bustling market town situated midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both are under an hour away by car, also half hourly train service to Glasgow from Lanark. Historic New Lanark is within walking distance and The beautiful Clyde Valley is only a few miles away. Lanark is an ideal base for touring Scotland as it lies in the central belt. North to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, East to Edinburgh and Fife, West to Ayr and South to Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders. Carlisle is 1 hours drive south and the famous Lake District is only 1 and a half hours drive.
