A fabulous holiday

I stayed in the villa for 10 nights with 2 families of 4. It was a perfect size for us and the kids really enjoyed having their own room and bathroom. We ate in most nights and found the kitchen to be amazingly well equipped. Beatrice came half way through our stay to replace the BBQ which we made good use of. The local area is beautiful with many beaches in walking distance. We particularly enjoyed going to the beach in the evening to watch the sunset. When we returned, as it got dark we were often treated to a bat show which the kids (and adults) loved! Then we all made use of the blankets and stayed out to watch the stars. The garden is spacious and the pool was a perfect size and depth for our 4 children. A couple of negatives.....the pool area did have a few loose paving stones which caused a minor hazard and the decking area did have a rather tired look. The toilets broke regularly (flush problems) which we managed to fix ourselves (Beatrice did offer to come but we fixed it in the meantime). The smell from the drains, especially in one bedroom, became quite disgusting in the last few days. I would say that Beatrice was very responsive to any problems that we had. Overall, a fantastic time was had by all.

Lovely house in a superb location

We received a very warm welcome from Yann and Beatrice to their lovely family house. It is in a superb location close to a sandy beach and the harbour and other facilities in the adjacent village of Argenton. The coastline in this part of Finistere is absolutely stunning and unspoiled with lovely bays, beaches and coastal walks nearby. We were a family of 8: 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 4 children aged 6 to 12. There is a great upstairs bedroom suite. On the ground floor there is an excellent children's suite that sleeps 4 with its own en-suite bathroom. Also on the ground floor is a double bed room that opens on to the patio with an en-suite shower room, but no wc. The house is extremely well equipped both inside and out and is very child friendly. There are plenty of towels and bed linen, the kitchen and laundry have everything you could wish for with lots of domestic equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Unfortunately the tv lounge is not very comfortable and is very cramped even for 8. The pool is superb and there is a lot of outdoor furniture. Unfortunately the pool electrics failed during our second week. This was not resolved while we were there, as Yann was away on holiday and this did detract from our enjoyment somewhat. Other than that, everything works - and very well too. However there are a few features that prospective holidaymakers might wish to take into account when booking: Accommodating 10 would be a challenge. There is no wc in the ground floor en-suite shower room. The nearest is in the children's en-suite accessed via a bedroom. There is no handrail at the side of the top section of the staircase so care is needed. The wc off the laundry room is very small indeed. Hence 4 stars rather than 5. Nevertheless, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives and we would not hesitate to book this property again if visiting this part of France. Thank you Yann and Beatrice.

Amazing house

The nicest holiday house we’ve ever stayed in. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. The house it self has every possible thing you could need, very clean and comfortable. The little town is stunning, beautiful beaches, lovely restaurants and a very friendly bar all within walking distance. We were a family of 5, we had lots of room, very comfy beds and I’m truly missing the huge bath. We can highly recommend this property and will definitely be back. Thank you Yann

Schöne Villa in bester Lage!

Es ist ein schöne Villa in bester Lage! Wir sind mit insgesamt 10 Personen da gewesen. Die Außenanlage der Villa ist schön mit einem schönen großen Pool. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet aber leider nicht genügend Töpfe oder Pfannen zum kochen da für 10 Personen. Nach dem wir aber der Vermieterin geschrieben hatten brachte sie uns einen größeren Topf. Manche Schränke sind überfüllt mit abgelaufenen Gewürzen und andere Lebensmittel. Das müsste mal durch geschaut werden. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Nur die Toilette bei der Waschmaschine ist sehr eng. Die Strände sind schnell zu erreichen und zur Bäckerei ist es auch nicht weit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und zwei super schöne Urlaubswochen da verbracht.
