This two bedroom, two bathroom home in the historic downtown area, while holding it's unique character and age, has been updated for a very comfortable stay. Original hardwood floors, travertine tile, new kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, high-end appliances, microwave oven, new front load washer and dryer. Updated bathrooms with travertine tile, new shower/tub, antique claw tub in master bath. Gas fireplace, flat panel TV, high speed internet, alarm system. The home is directly across the street from Cahoon park. The park has modern play equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, walking trail, etc. The park is adjacent to the golf course.
This house is beautiful!! Everything is new, updated and clean, yet the house still holds the character and charm of a true craftsman style home. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment for preparing meals, which we enjoyed doing in such a beautifully updated kitchen. Great location, easy to get to everything. We would definitely rent again when we come back to town. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
The home was very well kept and in great condition. New kitchen, nice furniture, nice fenced yard. Home has garage and carport. Close to downtown. Bring a folding chair and sit on the front porch in the early morning and listen to the birds - delightful!
Exactly as described. Very clean and updated. Owner readily available for any questions or concerns. My ONLY improvement suggestion is for a table lamp in the living room (overhead lighting was a little harsh). Since absolutely everything else was top notch, I feel bad for even suggesting that. Beautiful property.
It's was quite the find when I realized from the photos that my parents house was right across the park! My family took full advantage of the beautiful kitchen and cooked our turkey and some sides to take over to my parents house. Cahoon Park is the jewel of the town so to be able to still stay near my parents (there were too many people in their house) and on the park was really nice. It's always fun to watch the annual unofficial football game in the park some group has too! Also had a nice bath in the claw foot tub, cool. Only complaint would be the neighbors dogs that we heard & woke up to the first night, but overall it was great! Would stay again. Thanks!
Chris was excellent to work with. On the last day Chris extended our check out time for my daughter to accommodate her check in time to a hotel. Other wise she would have been driving around aimlessly for hours. Thank you again Chris!!
The property was wonderful, and as described. It was a beautifully restored craftsman home across from a very nice park. The home was clean, and had ample sheets, towels, and bath products. Check in and out was very easy with a door code. We will stay here again next time we are in town.
