I had a fantastic stay in Annecy! What a charming and beautiful city! The apartment was perfect - nice set-up, clean, comfortable, sunny, updated, well-decorated, nice big shower, short walk to the train station, the lake, the shops, restaurants, cafes... you name it. And Corinne was a delight - helpful and kind. This was a wonderful apartment! Thank you so much!

Beautiful apartment 1 block from markets and old town

We spent 5 days in this beautiful spacious clean apartment. Bedroom is in the garret making it very special.

Separate toilet & bathroom make it very suitable for up to 4 people. Corinne was very helpful & also showed us where one can park for free (only 20 minutes from the apartment). Kitchen is well equipped and also has a dishwasher. I would highly recommend this apartment. Andrée

Extra charges for this rental are in the contract; make sure you read it entirely

Guests should read the ENTIRE contract before renting this property. There are extra charges for sheets; extra charges if you do not clean THOROUGHLY before the host inspects the apartment at the end of your stay. Renters are responsible for trash, glass recycling out of the building, bathroom and shower cleaning, and trash disposal in the building's refuse area. No cleaning or linens are included in the rental. We got up early on our departure day to pack, clean the sinks, toilet and shower, and empty the recycling and trash, but did not understand the details of the contract in that we had to clean all floors and rugs in order to receive our security deposit back. We were subjected to a very stern reprimand in French in order to receive our deposit refund; we didn't understand all of what was directed at us but we well understood that we should have read the fine print more carefully. Other than that, this is a good location for a visit to Annecy, close to the train and bus stations, old town and markets. Street noise is 24/7 if the window is open.

Owner's Response: Message très calomnieux Ces vacanciers m'ont fait venir à 8h30 du matin et l'appartement était dans un état que je qualifierai de sale et d'irrespectueux. Poubelle non vidée en plein milieu de la pièce, table avec les miettes, sanitaires sales. Il est bien spécifié dans le contrat que l'appartement doit être rendu propre. Lorque je leur ai fait part de mon mécontentement ils ont eu pour seule répose qu'avec ....... ils n'avaient jamais fait de ménage. Certainement mais le site mis en avant n'était pas celui par lequel ils louaient l'appartement. Les autres fois le ménage devait être en plus et peu importe notre contrat avait très clairement était spécifié. De même pour les draps, je leur ai demandé s'ils voulaient le kit linge et ensuite ils me le reprochent. Aucune obligation, le vacancier est libre d'apporter ses draps. Je reste persuadée que mon mécontentement face à l'état de l'appartement me vaut cette appréciation très préjudiciable et tout à fait injuste. J'espère que les prochains vacanciers sauront lire entre les lignes

Highly recommend

There are a lot of cute apartments in Annecy and this is one of them. It is clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Corinne and Manuella are helpful, pleasant and accommodating as well. What is exceptional is the apartment's location. Distances are shorter than we expected and this rental is within a few steps of everything yet is still quiet at night. There is a convenient underground parking garage one block away. A Monoprix is nearby in addition to a Franprix around the corner and a Casino mini-mart practically downstairs. Banks and ATMs are everywhere. The local market takes place within a few hundred yards. You have a choice of boulangeries. The train station is within a couple of blocks. Excellent restaurants abound and be sure to try the traitor Pauvert for upscale dinner and wine takeout. I could go on all day but will simply say it is probably the best-located apartment we have rented and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Location. Safe and Quiet

Great location in the heart of Annecy.

There are many positives. It is close to old town, shopping, restaurants, the farmers markets, the lake and the train station. The flat was spacious, comfortable and was perfect for the two of us. The only negative is that the listing says that Corinne speaks English which she does not. That made our arrival somewhat difficult. She did have her son on the phone and he DOES speak English. (that helped).
