We are located on Abingdon Road, London W8, one of London's premier addresses, and near neighbours to William & Kate (and George & Charlotte) who have moved in down the road. Abingdon Road is a peaceful and quiet street despite being minutes from the centre of things.

If you do not know London well, the old mantra of 'Location, Location, Location' means a great deal in this city. Also look carefully at the size of your rental. Spending a week in a tiny studio apartment or even a small one-bedder can prove to be a little miserable. We are fortunate in being able to offer our guests much more room than most, plus a gorgeous terrace.

We are proud of our apartment; and want you to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible, so we have tried to think of everything. The apartment is located one up from ground and is the entire floor of a converted Victorian house. There is no elevator, but the 15 or so stairs are not taxing.

We have just installed a comfortable king size bed with a luxurious Hypnos mattress and we believe in providing the finest Egyptian cotton sheets, which get many a favourable comment from our guests. Even the large double sofa bed has the same linen and a top of the range mattress. The bedroom faces the gardens at the rear to ensure that even the lightest sleepers get a good night's sleep.

We have some great local restaurants (check out The Abingdon and W8 Kitchen) and a range of excellent supermarkets within a few minutes walk (Waitrose, Whole Foods etc).

You can also easily walk to High Street Kensington underground station (about 7 mins), the Royal Holland & Hyde Parks, Marks and Spencer, Kensington Palace, or just about any store that you might need.

We are also conveniently located for the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, the Albert Hall, the National Gallery and the principal sites of London (Buckingham Palace, the Eye, Theatres, The Tate, The Thames Walk etc).

London's newest museum, the Design Museum, has just opened a short walk from our apartment - with 10,000 square feet of spectacular space and a permanent collection (to which entry is free) of over 1,000 objects in a wide variety of exhibits from the world of architecture and design.

As a result most of our guests are regular visitors, often people who are staying for longer and find regular holiday apartments too confined. We are also very popular with honeymoon couples.

We are happy to provide discounts for single business travellers and those who wish to stay for extended periods.

We always provide a personal check-in so that we can orientate you to the area and help you plan the best way to make the most of your stay. And if you need us, we are at the end of a phone.

Our conservatory has blackout blinds the bathroom features a fabulous overhead rain shower. We also have a flat screen TV and DVD player, a printer and a desk full of London guides and information.

You may have heard that London has a cycle hire scheme - a great way to get around the centre (just ask Arnold Schwartzenegger) – and we have three docking stations within a couple of minutes walk

Plus we can help with cars from the airport, cell phones for your stay, theatre bookings etc.

Fabulous flat!

Fabulous flat!

From the moment we arrived at this comfortable and attractive flat we felt welcomed. Mark is a fantastic host, who ensured that everything was perfect for our arrival, including providing great directions from Heathrow. The flat is in a perfect location in South Kensington, a short walk to the circuit line tube station, as well as the bus. Holland Park is a couple of blocks away, as is Waitrose market, Whole Foods and a good selection of restaurants and shops. Other sights are an easy 20 to 30 minutes by tube. Speaking of which, the tube staff are very helpful and pleasant.

The flat itself is very comfortable. We loved having high quality sheets and towels, as well as a fully equipped, modern kitchen and bath. The decor is pleasant, and it was wonderful to have the outdoor terrace on good days. All in all, this flat is a winner!

Amazing! Great location and helpful hosts!

Our first trip to London and what an amazing way to start! What a gem of a neighborhood. The local coffee shop and pun just down the block were fantastic. Mark was super helpful and walked us through the flat and checked in to make sure we were doing ok. Can't wait to come back and enjoy again!

Beautiful Flat!

This flat was in a great location from which to explore London - a short walk to the High Street Kensington tube, on a quiet street but with shops, restaurants and interesting places to visit nearby. It's in a lovely, lively neighborhood a 5- or 10-minute walk to Holland Park or Kensington Park. Sophia and Mark were as helpful as could be; Sophia greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel at home. The flat itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with up-to-date appliances and decor. Plus the terrace! We loved staying here!

Stay in Kensington

The property is perfectly located for a visit to London. The neighborhood is quite but with great restaurants, grocery stores, and underground stations nearby. The apartment is very well appointed and maintained. The owners were very attentive. They met us on our arrival and responded in a timely fashion to any needs that arose. They also had great suggestions regarding the local venues. It was a Five Star experience and we look forward to returning on our next trip to London.

Sunny, Beautifully Maintained and Well Located Kensington Flat

Hi Mark,

I just wanted to let you know that we loved the apartment, and had no problems or difficulties during our stay there.

Well organized, clean, comfortable, cheerful and perfectly located, it was everything we could wish for in a London apartment.

In fact, it was our favorite of four that we have rented in London over the past three years.

We hope to return to London again this year, and will be checking with you then to see if it is available.
