Great location, 5th floor with views to Los Gigantes cliffs, UK TV/DVD, WIFI

A spacious and very clean apartment, furnished to a high standard, in a recently built, quiet and privately owned complex.

We also own two other one bedroom apartments; on the 4th floor (sea view to La Gomera) and 6th floor (Penthouse - sea view to Los Gigantes cliffs) - please double check availability as these may be available instead (unless 'blocked' on Calendar).

Bath and shower facilities plus bidet, sockets for hair dryer and shaver, marble sink with large mirror. Fully fitted kitchen includes washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, plus breakfast bar with stools. Bedroom includes double bed, large wardrobe with sliding doors, safe, wall lamps, large wall mirror, bedside tables and lamps. Lounge area comprises two seater sofa, armchair, coffee table, wall bureau, wall & standard lamps, TV. Large terrace furnished with table and chairs - with unrivalled sea views and of Los Gigantes cliffs. Complex includes two large swimming pools, two children's pools, two Jacuzzis and free sun beds. Lifts to all floors. Within short walking distance of all local amenities including an array of restaurants, cafes and bars and designer shops. Short coastal walk into beautiful harbour town of Los Gigantes. Car hire readily available. Apartment Managers on call to help with any issues. Secure underground parking available at £15 per week.

About Puerto Santiago/Los Gigantes: Puerto Santiago is host to many excellent restaurants and cafes, and a large range of shops. In July and August there are annual week-long fiestas with open air mass, fun fair, live salsa and mambo bands and spectacular firework displays. There is a wide variety of bars to choose from and many have night-time entertainment suitable for all the family including singers, comedians and flamenco dancers – all within a short walking distance. And recently opened is a first class spa and health centre at the Hotel Barcelo just a few minutes walk away.

The Blue Flag beach of Playa de la Arena is a 10 minute walk or there is a small beach and fishing port just 5 minutes walk. Opposite the complex is a coastal walkway into the beautiful harbour town of Los Gigantes (10 minutes), which also boasts many restaurants, bars and designer shops. This walkway also takes you past Crab Island where you will find a natural swimming pool which is free for public use.

Local Attractions: Dolphin and whale spotting excursions are readily available at Los Gigantes harbour, as are Banana Boat rides and Jet Ski hire. The Masca guided walk is recommended for keen walkers. Masca is an ancient mountainside village with many flora and fauna unique to the area. The excellent Lora Parq zoo is approx one hours drive towards the North of the Island and coach tours are also available. Excursions to the Mounte Teide volcano are also readily available or it is just 40 minutes drive.

It is carefully cleaned and maintained by our excellent and helpful Apartment Managers, as is the rest of the complex. It is privately owned and usually very peaceful.

We own three apartments within this complex. The apartment advertised here is on the fifth floor. We also have apartments on the 6th (Penthouse with sea view) and 4th floors (with excellent sea view to the island of La Gomera). If your requested dates look unavailable please do get in touch to see if either of our other lovely apartments are available instead.

Modern apartment

A modern apartment with enough space to enjoy . Lovely view of outlying cliffs and beyond . All kitchen equipment required for holiday cooking available . As a complex its mostly residential and holiday lets , the whole complex was kept clean and well maintained . Owners very helpful and corresponded promptly . A downside is that the pool was not heated which is available in other complexes in the area , also not a strong wifi signal in apartment . Overall a couple small points to improve on but good standard .

Owner's Response: Plans for heating one of the pools are in discussion with the community President. We are waiting for Fibre Broadband to be available within the area which will give a much improved wifi signal.

Perfect holiday

We have just arrived back from our 2 week holiday in Suzie's appartment.

We decided to try letting an appartment this holiday as the last 1 in May with a hotel was a disaster and im glad we made the move!

The appartment was everything we had hoped for. It was clean well equipped and very comfortable. The complex itself is excellent well managed very clean and quiet. The only problems we encountered were of our own making, my wife having locked us out of the safe had us in a panic but Dave (Suzies appartment manager) was quick to help coming straight round to help us out. My wife now on a ban from using the safe, the rest of the holiday went smoothy. Suzie herself was very nice she made our first time away from package holidays a smooth and enjoyable experience. The managers Dave and his wife Debbie were incredibly friendly, on the ball and happy to help. We look forward to booking with Suzie again.

The apartment was as described, clean and Suzy's service, excellent.

Recommended 100% for couples.

Good location, but quite a climb walking up to the town.

Would suggest guests take advantage of the secure car parking as on-street parking could present problems.

As were late arriving, the Welcome Pack (including a bottle of wine) was a godsend.

There is a Package Holiday Apartment Ghetto nearby - but there was no late-night noise or other problems.

Within the building there is a quite a good Supermarket and three very good restaurants within easy walking distance - plus a number of fast-food joints.

Only niggle was that beach towels were not available for poolside use - as stated in the last minute info - but it is off-season.

We took a half-day trip to Los Americas - and quickly realised how lucky we were to be staying at Los Gigantos!

Good times

We have just arrived back from a weeks holiday at Suzy's apartment have to say that the accommodation was everything we hoped for. The weather could have been a little kinder according to the locals but as this was our first winter sun break the sun was very welcoming.

We found the location of the apartment a huge avantage as nothing was too far away and we found the Route 66 bar was a great place to round off an evening.

Suzy was most helpful and hopefully if finances allow we will be back in 2010.

Relaxing Honeymoon

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing place with sunny weather for our honeymoon and we found the perfect place with this property. The description is true to word: we found the property very clean, comfortable, modernly furnished, and with any amenity we could have wanted. We loved the option to stay by one of the two lovely, relaxing and very clean pools (where we always found free sun loungers) or go out and explore spots on the sea locally. The apartment complex itself is very modern, quiet, clean and safe.

As far as location on the island, we found it ideal. There were many restaurants and supermarkets locally, but it was also quiet and not as 'touristy' as many other locations. We also found it easy to hire a car for a day or so to explore other sites on the island. One tip: If you're going to book an excursion through a travel agency, do it sooner rather than later. Especially in the off-peak season, they don't run them every day. We ended up hiring a car in the end, which worked out fine, but probably would have saved money on a group excursion.

Highly recommend staying here. We would definitely consider returning and renting any property from Suzy again. She was very helpful and informative with everything from reliable transport services to local restaurants and maps to an optional welcome pack. She really helped to ensure our 8 nights there were very comfortable and enjoyable.

The Blue Flag beach of Playa de la Arena is a 10 minute walk or there is a small beach just 5 minutes walk. There is an easily accessible coastal walkway into the beautiful harbour town of Los Gigantes (10 minutes), which also boasts many restaurants, bars and designer shops. Mounte Teide is just 40 minutes away, and you will find many organised excursions to choose from, which will also include trips to the village of Masca (great for walkers!) and boat trips including whale and dolphin spotting excursions. Many local markets are within easy reach as are other local fiestas.

Other Activities: Close to Mount Teide and Masca, lots of local markets

Golf: Excellent golf complex, Abama, just 15 minutes away.

SECURITY DEPOSIT; fees will be advised and deducted for any breakages, plus there is a £12 fee for call outs of our Apartment Managers for lock-outs including the Safe.
