About this property

CREEKSIDE CABIN, CABIN ON THE CREEK

Come and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains in our 'Creekside' log cabin. Our cabin sits in a valley on a mountain stream, just minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee. The Smoky Mountain Park backs up to the property. This cabin sits on a year round creek and has all the modern day conveniences including wifi, BBQ, flat screen tv's in each bedroom and the main sitting area. You can sit on the porch, enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the sounds of the birds as the water trickles by in the stream. In the living room you can check out your favorite sports team or catch a movie on the 50' led 1080p TV.

This cabin delivers a great mountain experience. On the first level sits one of the two master bedrooms. It has a king size custom log red cedar bedroom set with a matching dresser and night stand with an adorable bear lamp. It also has a full bath. The living room has a sleeper sectional that sleeps two along with a fireplace, coffee table and matching end tables. The kitchen is also on this level and has a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and a smooth top oven. The kitchen has been accessorized with a toaster, coffee maker, crock pot and a fully stocked set of pots, pans and utensils. The kitchen table accommodates up to 6 comfortably. This level offers one of two covered porches where you can enjoy the sounds and sights of the stream. The second level has a second master bedroom with a custom log red cedar bedroom set with a matching 8 drawer dresser and mirror, nightstand and full closet along with a full bathroom with a heart shaped jet- tub. Also located on the second level is a slate top pool table with a sofa. This level also has a door leading out to the second outside covered porch. On this porch there are two chairs with a small table for drinks. In addition, the hot tub is also located on this level and has a privacy fence setup for pure serenity! The third level is a loft that is accessible by a beautiful custom pine log ladder with rails. The loft has a futon with an upgraded plush cushion and is perfect for kids and teenagers. There is also an upright full size video arcade machine with 60 of the classic games such as Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Centipede and many more. We also have provided some of the most popular board games.

Bring your bathing suit so you can enjoy the hot tub. If you have kids we guarantee they will get their socks wet at least once in the stream. Don't worry we have a washer and dryer just bring some detergent. Connvenient:
This cabin is so easy to find and easy to access. Our guest love that. You can be sitting on the porch one minute and be in either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge the next. Just one turn off the parkway and a short winding road along the stream and you are there. No steep hills to climb, no steep driveways. Easy access when the rest of the mountain roads are closed due to snow or ice. Ample flat parking for up to 3 vehicles. If you are a runner, our road is a relatively flat, winding road along a mountain stream... and a great place to jog.

Year Round Fun:
This is truly a four season retreat. The color of the cabin changes for each season. The front of the cabin has beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking the stream. In the Fall you can wake up to the wonderful reds, yellows and browns of Autumn. In the Winter you can enjoy the snow or a frozen stream outside of the door. The Spring brings the bright greens into play as the buds bloom on the trees. And there is no better place to cool off in the Summer than putting your toes in a mountain stream or floating in a river.

Our guests say they enjoy some of the best family time they have ever spent here. The kids find ways to talk and play and fall in love with nature. Couples find romance. Families come together here and make memories.

If you keep your eyes open, you could spot bear, deer, wild turkeys, red-tail hawks and all kinds of other wildlife. Squirrels, chipmunks and birds will entertain those who sit on the porch.

At night, the cabin glows in a way only a cabin can. You can tell stories under the amazing star cover of the Smoky's.

Base Camp:
We use the cabin as a base camp to explore the Smokys. There is too much to do in just a few days. It can be base camp for shoppers, hikers, fly fishermen, horesback riders, skiers, bikers, cylcists, or roller coaster junkies. All of the attractions are close by. Dollywood is 10 minutes away. Pleanty of bear. In the winter you can use this as a base camp to do some skiing at Ober Gatlinburg. We are 30 minutes from Cades Cove and 20 minutes to Townsend. Horseback riding is minutes away. Try your hand at fly fishing in the stocked streams of Gatlinburg or the wild streams in the Smoky's. They stock trout downtown every Thursday. Friday is a great day to fish.

Whether you are looking for a mountain adventure, or a quiet place to relax, this cabin will deliver as promised. It is the perfect spot for a couple, a family or a girls/guys weekend.

7th wedding anniversary
Hubby & I needed a place to celebrate our love but also a place to get away from everyday life. Our only regret is not staying longer. The sound of the creek, the bird's, the peacefulness. Everything one could need to decompress.

This cabin is in the perfect location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There was so much to see and do I wish we could have stayed longer! Our kids loved the arcade game, the pool table, and the loft area. Would definitely stay here again!!

Smoky Mountain Cabin
This cabin is in a great location! There are neighbors extremely close on both sides of you though. For us it didn’t matter though because the other cabins were not in use for most of our stay. The pull out couch you can tell has been used a lot. You can feel every spring in it. The cabin itself was the perfect size. The arcade game, pool table and hot tub are nice features. The kitchen only had one spatula and only a few small spoons for eating. The remote for the master bedroom TV was extremely hard to use. We had to point it just right or the dish would not turn on and you couldn’t use the guide or channel buttons. I let the host know and they recently had issues with the dish they said and would be looking into this. Some nights we just didn’t even mess with it because it was so frustrating. The master bathroom fan could use some cleaning and so could the ceiling corners as there were cobwebs. The refrigerator does not have an automatic ice maker or water but there is ice trays to make ice. The host was super nice and extremely responsive to questions/comments any time of day. If we ever decided to come back I would rent this place again as long as the pull out couch was updated.

Family Birthday Trip
Creekside Cabin was the perfect escape for our son’s birthday weekend! We had a blast rocking and swinging on the porch, while watching the creek. Our boys loved wading in the creek, and we all loved relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool! The property is clean and well kept. We really appreciated being able to bring our puppy as well! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
