A marvellously comfortable gite- ideal for visiting the south of Touraine

At the heart of Touraine, 5 5km away from the historic town of Loches (many shops) and 2 km away from the village of Chanceaux, Le Haut Minière is located in the forest, in a very quiet and preserved environment. Ideal base to relax and visit the Loire Castles. Stylish East-West facing Breton long-house, completely restored, top-of-the-range services, all mod cons and tastefully decorated. Ranked 5 épis. Opened in July 2010 after 2 years of renovation.

Golf, tennis court and horse riding facilities nearby. Stunning Spa for relaxation in Loches. Horse and pony housing available upon request. Heated pool and private parking and garden. Organic fruit and vegetables.

Maximal capacity in 2011: 15 persons. Renovated house in 2 different parts can be rented completely or partially (capacity 10/12 persons).

This guest house is ideal to relax and visit la Touraine. The area is very preserved & the forest is 150 m from the house. Many shops at Loches.

Le Haut Minière is a large luxurious farmhouse composed of 2 parts. It can be rented either in its complete configuration (7 pretty bedrooms, 1 small bedroom, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 1 large living room/dining room 1 small living room/dining room) or in partial configuration (2 pretty bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and 1 living room/dining room). The 2 parts are never rented to 2 different groups. Therefore, if you do not rent part A (max capacity: 11/12 persons including 2 children), part B is not rented to a third party & you benefit from the overall outdoor services attached to the Haut Minière (private pool & courtyard from 1st May-1st October, private parking & garden etc...)

A beautifully restored spacious farmhouse.

Fourteen of us and two children spent a happy week in this great location. The farmhouse is well equipped,comfortable and clean. Outside and inside dining was a pleasure with two huge tables and two dishwashers.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful and hospitable.

It is close to the old town of Loches with all the attractions of the Loire Valley, cycling, chateaux, visiting wineries, on the doorstep.

There is no light pollution and the star lit sky was breathtakingly beautiful.

I would recommend this for a large group of friends and family as there is enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.

Gite idéal pour famille nombreuse. Accueil parfait

Gite remarquable, bien aménagé avec grande piscine bien protégée. Nombreux aménagements pour les enfants. Intérieur meublé avec goût et bénéficiant de toutes les commodités nécessaires pour une famille nombreuse. Tous les commerces à proximité 'Loches 6 Kms). Gardienne accueillante et efficace.

Bref, un séjour très réussi en tous points.

très bon séjour entre amis et famille

Nous avions loué les gîtes haut minieres et clos minieres pour fêter les 30 ans de mon ami. Nous avons tous passé un très bon séjour de 3jours. Le soleil était au rendez vous mais encore un petit timide pour que nous puissions profiter de la piscine, certes chauffée mais non couverte (dommage..) Petits et grands, nous nous sommes très bien amusés entre le ping pong, la pétanque, le badminton, les balades pour les grands et la balançoire, les autres jeux de plein air, les poules et les chevaux pour les petits. Les chambres étaient très bien (quasiment une salle de bain par chambre!) et spacieuses. Les lits sont confortables. Il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut au niveau équipements dans les gîtes! Nous avons également profitez des soirées près du barbecue sous le preau.

Les propriétaires très sympathiques et serviables n'ont fait qu'ajouter la cerise sur le gâteau.

Un magnifique endroit que nous recommandons bien évidemment.
