Great location, great pool, unique home, helpful check-in staff to assist
The house itself is a 30 minute walk / 10 minute drive from the heart of Mauzac. Which is a quiet little village with a cute restaurant and a small shop where you can get essentials.
I would describe the house as bizarre in that none of the bathrooms have toilets in them - these are separate. The toilets themselves have no sinks so you still have to go to two bathrooms to wash your hands. One room has toilet in it behind a curtain.
The kitchen is well stocked on equipment and is clean and modern with an excellent fridge.
If you were thinking of taking families i would be worried about the amount of glass tables and slippy floors if even a tiny bit wet. Some of the floors are uneven and the stairs aren’t that easy for children. Personally I don’t think the house is convenient for young children at all.
The pool was absolutely amazing - clean, had a good cover, but the hot tub smelled terrible and I would think needed a complete clean and sanitise. The water smelled of stagnant water.
WiFi was good, and Phillipe who checked us in was helpful, friendly and thorough.
