Maison Clémentine welcomes you to a ground floor apartment with a garden and terrace. It is bright and spacious, equipped with all comforts and a stylish decor. It is located in a house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The house has been completely renovated by an architect. This has favoured the conservation of several original features in order to respect the character of the house. The walls separating the rooms were removed to have a large space in one room, offering a loft-style, with large bay windows overlooking the garden. It is located in a peaceful haven, close to university campuses (ULB, VUB, Boston University, Kent University), the European School, restaurants, brasseries, caterers, a hypermarket: organic and classic supermarkets, and all services. It is a five-minute walk from two metro stations and bus stops (Hankar and Delta metro stations, and buses 34, 71, 72). It is four metro stations away from EU institutions and the Cinquantenaire Museum, as well as 15 minutes away from the city centre (Grand-Place, museums, the Royal Palace, Manneken-Pis, and much more). The Ring (ring road) and the road network to all local and European destinations are 5 min away. There is a closed and secured parking space in another building, a 4 minute-walk away. It will be available upon reservation and a small charge of €5 per day. Parking on the street is both possible and regulated (Mandatory blue zones). We give preference to the comfort of our guests. That is why the apartment has a bedroom with a 160x200-cm bed and a living room with a 90x200-cm bed for a third person (adult, child, or adolescent). We also offer a cot for a 3-year-old baby, with a 60x120-cm mattress and a high chair. Bed linen and bathroom linen are provided. There is no extra fee for cleaning services. Do not hesitate to ask for a period longer than a month.

An outstanding apartment in a delightful, convenient, inner city location

We stayed in this apartment during four days in June. The apartment is a two minute walk to the train station, supermarket and restaurants. The apartment is nestled in a beautiful, fragrant cottage garden in which you can sit and enjoy a meal or quiet repose. The interior is modern with book lined walls, sitting and dining areas and a fully equiped kitchen. The bedroom is equally delightful. The host was outstanding. Alain picked us up at the railway station and showed us where to find the best shops and restaurants. He ensured that the fridge was well stocked with essentials and saw that all our needs were met. He also drove us to the station on our departure. Alain is a delightful person and we will not forget his generosity or his friendship. We are pleased to give this apartment our highest recommendation.

Wonderful space, great hosts, lovely neighborhood

What a magnificent apartment! So nice to spend time inside and so easy to travel from. The garden outside the sitting room is amazing. Our hosts provided several welcoming items that were delicious and meant we didn’t immediately have to run to the grocery, Alain provided excellent advice on places to visit and things to see. The inside is very comfortable tor lounging and for working, and Alexandra has done a wonderful job of designing an efficient yet pleasant space throughout. It’s difficult to imagine a better base of operations for our week in Brussels.

Our stay here was wonderful! The home is nestled in a safe and charming community close to public transit, grocery stores and restaurants. It was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated inside. This home and the hospitality of our host far exceeded our expectations! Best HomeAway Experience Yet

We have stayed at several HomeAway/Airbnb apartments over the years, but this one was by far the best. Very clean, conveniently located, tastefully decorated. And, Alain stocked the refrigerator and pantry with many essentials, so we didn't need to run out to the grocery store when we arrived. Several grocery stores were walkable, including an all organic store and a very large market. The train into the city center was also only a couple minutes walk and ran quite frequently so we never waited very long for a train. On the day of our arrival, Alain drove us around the apartment to show us where everything was, including all of the best restaurants in the area. Very flexible/easy check in/check out process. This apartment is easy to get to from the airport. Just take the train from the airport into Central Station, then transfer to the line that takes you to Hankar. Very comfortable apartment and beds. Thanks, Alain, for being such a great host. We will be back!

Perfekt bolig/Perfect residential

Dette er en rigtig dejlig lejlighed i stueetagen af en lille ejendom. Ejer bebor selv de to øvrige etager ovenpå. Boligen er indrettet hyggeligt med en god blanding af nye og gamle møbler (dejlig seng). Der er brusekabine i et stort skab i soveværelset – og det fungerer fint. Boligen indeholder alt, hvad man har brug for fra en skarp kniv til vaske- og opvaskemaskine samt strygemuligheder. En lille perle i storbyen med en helt fantastisk skøn lille have med terrasse. Desuden velfungerende wi-fi. Der er meget kort afstand til metro, indkøb, restauranter og parkeringsgarage.

Ejer er meget imødekommende og hjælpsom med alt og gav os en fantastisk velkomst.

Har i behov for en bolig i storbyen Bruxelles, men gerne vil undgå dens meget gadestøj, så er dette stedet. Man kan høre metroen på afstand, men ellers er her helt roligt, og man kan sidde midt i storbyen i ”sin egen” skønne have. Og her er tænk på alt, for at give jer et rigtig godt ophold.

This is a really nice apartment on the ground floor of a small property. The owner lives on the other two floors upstairs. The accommodation is furnished cozy with a good mix of new and old furniture (nice bed). There is a shower cubicle in a large closet in the bedroom – this solution works fine. The accommodation contains everything you need from a sharp knife to washing machine and dishwasher as well as ironing facilities. A little pearl in the big city with an absolutely beautiful little garden with terrace. Wi-fi works very well. The metro, shopping, restaurants and parking garage are a very short distance away.

The owner is very welcoming and helpful with everything and gave us a wonderful welcome.

If you need a residence in the big city of Brussels, but you want to avoid its city noise - this is the place. You can hear the subway at a distance, but otherwise it's quiet, and you can sit in the middle of the big city in “your own” beautiful garden. Everything is done here, to give you a really good stay.

From the Brussels International Airport, take the train to Central Station. Then, take the metro to Hermann Debroux. Get out at Hankar station, and you will be five minutes away from the house. By car, take the route to Waversesteenweg and not to Boulevard du Triomphe, as indicated by the GPS, because Brassine Avenue is located in a loop of local traffic not accessible by the boulevard, giving it an appearance of a "village in the city." The Brussels International airport is located in Zaventem, a 20-minute drive from the apartment. The Brussels South Airport is located in Charleroi, 50 km away from Brussels. A shuttle bus takes you to the Brussels-South railway station (see the airport website). You can find supermarkets, restaurants, caterers, transport, gyms, pharmacies, car and bike rentals, parks, ponds, forest, museums, cinema, theatres, and nightclubs. Everything is available and nearby. From your apartment, you can visit all of Brussels using public transportation. It is better to leave your car parked. We are also located in a strategic spot, not far away from the railway stations and road networks, which allow you to visit, by car or train, all the Belgian cities, such as Bruges or Ghent, as well as the coast, the Ardennes, and the cities of neighbouring countries (Lille is 100 km away. Paris is 300 km away. Amsterdam, Cologne and Luxembourg are 2 hours away by car).
