This little slice of paradise is perfect for a cozy couples retreat, small families, or a few friends looking for a taste of the mountain life! The stress will melt away when you enter this premium upgraded suite. This unit boasts lovely mountain views, a great outdoor Hot Tub, ambiance fireplace, second floor balcony, as well as a granite and stainless kitchen stocked with everything you could ask for. Our home away from home is super convenient and a very cozy accommodation!! This unit is fantastic for short or long stays and also offers insuite laundry and underground parking! The property is located in the bow valley corridor away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough for convenience. You will be impressed. The Rockies truly have something for everyone. About Cory/JF

We love the mountains and Canmore! As previous residents of Canmore and work taking us elsewhere, we had to purchase here so we could return often. Some of our favourite things about the area include: The ski hills, close up encounters with wild life, the stunning views, fresh air, the abundance of remarkably beautiful lakes, fishing, hiking, biking, the very impressive 'Elevation place' and the list goes on and on!! When we're not playing outside we also like to enjoy some of the restaurants Canmore and Banff have to offer. A few of our favourites are: Crazy Weed, Trough, Rocky Mountain Flat Bread Co., Tapas, The Balkin, Georgio's, The Bear Street Tavern and for an incredible mountain view The Iron Goat Pub.

Why Cory/JF chose Alberta

We bought this property because for us it is the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. Being just a few minutes outside of Canmore we enjoy the peace and quiet, the lack of traffic that comes with being in town and the easy accessibility to all the adventures the area has to offer. Also it is just a short one hour drive from Calgary and the international airport making it easy to get to from wherever our jobs take us!

What makes this condo unique

This property is so peaceful and quiet and yet very convenient to all the hills and town centre. Whether you like to ski Nakiska or Louise you are in perfect location. No town hassles, and surrounded by amazing views.

Beautiful property in the heart of the Rockies!!

We had a great stay this summer. The condo was beautiful, with great views and a wonderful BBQ area with a hot tub! This condo was in the perfect location, close to many popular destinations. Very happy we chose to stay here. Thanks Cory!! Would defiantly recommend.

The location of the property is close to Trans-Canada 1. Our unit had great views of the mountains. The property was clean and contained all the amenities advertised. I would stay at this property again. Thanks for everything.

A nice place away from the crowds

My wife and I wanted to see the Canadian Rockies. That's all we knew. We had no idea what Banff and Banff National Park were about. But we wanted three nights, not in a hotel, and preferably away from crowds.

That's really the big factor to consider in looking at this nice little condo (actually, reasonably decent sized. If you need to be in the center of the action, this is not for you. If you want to have drinks and walk or take a bus back to your lodging, this is not for you. But if you want a really nice place, driving distance from all the fun but away from the crowds (which do get crazy in Banff in the summer), consider this.

The unit was exactly as advertised, so there's not much more to say there. It's nice, clean, newer, well built, has good parking, and is quiet. It has a big hot tub and three BBQ grills. It's in Dead Man's Flats, a place too small to call a town so they call it a hamlet. There is a gas station, small restaurant, and convenience store, and some housing.

It's roughly eight miles from Canmore, a really nice town that has everything you need except tourist stuff. It's about twelve miles from Banff, a really nice tourist town that gets very busy in the summer, but has every restaurant and shop imaginable - great shopping and eating.

We didn't see our hosts, Cory and JF - the condo was totally turnkey. They delivered the unit clean and want it back clean. We gave it to them that way, and got our deposit back promptly. I appreciated this - I'm not a big fan of deposits for short term rentals.

As a matter of personal preference, I'd go back here even in a slower season and even if prices were the same in Banff. Banff is not to be missed if you're in the area - but if you prefer to stay off the beaten path while still being close to the action, this is a great option.

One last point - if you come in the summer, bring mosquito repellent. Of course, this is not a reflection of the property. But the mosquitoes were the largest I've ever seen (and I live in Florida). We opened the door to the nice patio, and in they came. They would have been easily managed with some repellent.

Couple problems, but nice place

First problem, no access code for garage in instructions so I had to call the owner. It was good that he answered, but he insisted the code was in the instructions when I kept telling him it wasn't. Garage and condo had different access codes, only the condo code was in the instructions on the How Away app.

Second problem, not clean. Bath tub had hairs in it, plant in bath room very dusty, and a pillow case had a stain.

Would be 5 stars for sure if those problems were fixed. Nice quiet facility, good location, has everything you would need.
