We live an hour away and we wanted a place to take our pets on vacation with us. We love the outdoors and camp often. We decided to build a vacation home.
Jill Tyler purchased this cabin in 2011
A few years ago we were looking for a place that was quiet but near a lot of activities. We saw this property while we were 4wheeling and it was perfect. We will still be reserving this log cabin for a few weeks a year so we can have some fun too!
We loved the views from the house, the beautiful creek, the already groomed road that runs the whole length of the property. We love the outdoor fire pit and sitting around the fire at night or when it is cold the indoor wood stove.
You should know that WiFi and phone use is included.
The main house is so much more beautiful than the pictures let on. It had an overall feeling of comfort and coziness. We enjoyed being immersed and surrounded by nature and being disconnected from the outside world. It was super private & really gave us the opportunity to re-connect as a family. We had 5 adults, 5 kids & 3 dogs & were all very comfortable. The property manager was great also. Looking forward to going back soon. Thank you!
The cabin was clean and well kept. It was beautiful inside! Our stay was exactly what we were expecting, relaxing. Jill, the property manager, was great to deal with, very attentive, and made sure we had proper directions before our trip. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and everyone slept comfortably. We traveled from Long Island, NY and upon our arrival into Lake George we went grocery shopping and planned our meals, snacks etc. for our 3 night stay - this worked out great for us. Our trip was amazing and we will definetely be returning to his beautiful cabin!
My family and I had a great time at this property. The house was beautiful, plenty of everything, small general store for little things was 5 minutes away, twenty minutes to Lake George, the quad trails went on for miles and there was nothing but nature all around.
I would recommend this house to anyone I know, and Jill was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be going back to this house on our next summer vacation.
We really enjoyed staying in this very nice log cabin. Jill, the property manager, was very responsive, reasonable and easy to work with.
Both cabins were very clean and well kept. Very secluded. We had a small family gathering and we really enjoyed ourselves. We brought our ATV's the older kids went out on the trails and had a blast. In the meantime the adults could enjoy quiet time by the fire. Jill was very helpful and thought of everything. Definitely would stay there again.
Beautiful home in a great location! It was a little tough to find but honestly it was just part of the excitement. The bigger house was so clean when we got there and it looks like a brand new house! The small house was very nice as well. There is a small creek on the property that we went and explored and had a lot of fun. So many trails for riding I wish I brought my atvs! Jill was super helpful and I can't wait to go back here
