Our recently remodeled 1BD is 4 blocks from beautiful Venice beaches! It features a large covered patio and a large outdoor patio with a grill.

8 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to Sharky's restaurant/bar and fishing pier, 25 minute walk to tons

of shopping, restaurants, and bars in Downtown Venice, FL.

- The Space -

This 1BD unit includes a full kitchen, full bathroom with a shower and tub, a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a living room with a couch and large TV. There is also a large outdoor patio and a large covered patio with seating and a parking space next to the unit. The unit has been recently remodeled and is clean and comfortable.

There is also free WiFi in the unit as well as cable TV in the living room.

- The Neighborhood -

The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. Walking anywhere on the island is a breeze. Downtown Venice (25 minute walk) is packed with shops, restaurants, and bars. You can usually find live music in town on Friday and Saturday nights. There are often festivals in town on the weekends as well as a farmers market every Sunday.

The beach is the big draw for me, and is only an 8 minute walk away. Further south along the beach you can find Caspersen Beach at the southern tip of the island which has a very natural feel and is a great spot to find prehistoric sharks’ teeth - after all, Venice is known worldwide as the Shark Tooth Capital. There are also nature trails traveling through freshwater and saltwater marshes and mangrove areas. It is quite normal to spot a dozen or so tortoises while walking along these trails. Walking or biking along the Intracoastal Waterway is also highly recommended since Venice has a great paved path all along the way.

Venice also has plenty of great fishing. The popular spots are at the huge fishing pier at Sharky's (there is a bate shop right on the pier), or at the jetty at the northern tip of the island. You can often see dolphins and sometimes manatees from the pier and jetty. You can also choose to fish right from the beach if you'd like.

- Getting around -

Venice does have a bus system, but most of what you'll need is in walking distance, biking distance, or short driving distance. Taxis are also available.

There is a Publix (supermarket) right on the island (15 minute walk, 3 minute drive) and a Walmart 4.5 miles away.

- Other Things to Note -

The kitchen is stocked with the essentials including a full oven and stove, large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, glasses, cookware and silverware as well as paper towels and dish soap.

The shower has shampoo, conditioner, body soap, as well as fresh towels. The bathroom also has toilet paper and hand soap.

If you are bringing 3 guests - the couch in the living room is available for sleeping on.

Perfect for our weekend getaway

My wife and I booked this place for a weekend getaway. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach, and a very short drive to shops and restaurants. The manager (Justin) was extremely responsive and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. Great experience and would stay here again.

Comfortable, well planned and maintained rental property.

This small 'on-island' rental property was ideal for the two of us. It was the cleanest property we have ever rented, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, there was plenty of storage space for belongings in the bedroom and bathroom, and it was so bright! The living area was small, but certainly adequate for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked. The artwork on the walls, and the real plants were unexpected and enjoyed. We did walk to the main shopping area even if it was a little far, but walking to Sharky's was easy. This property seemed to be close to everything. Thank you!

A little gem in Venice

My friend & I stayed at this adorable condo for the Venice Shark Tooth Festival weekend. We had a wonderful stay! The condo is updated and very clean. Justin, the owner, is very attentive and accommodating. The condo has almost everything you might need: coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, fully stocked kitchen with dishes & flatware. . Fresh towels in the bathroom, fresh sheets on the bed. beach towels are also supplied! Condo is in a residential neighborhood full of friendly people walking & biking in the mornings. My friend & I walked to Sharky's on the Pier, a local bar/restaurant. Venice Beach is beautiful with free parking & great shelling.The Shark Tooth Festival was also in walking distance from the condo and was a lot of fun! Lots of vendors and amazing shark teeth of every size! We also visited the town of Nokomis, slightly north of Venice. There, we ate at two delightful restaurants: Pop's Sunset Grill (great food & live music) and Nokomis Sunset Hut (perfect for a cocktail at sunset). But we definitely saved the best for last. Our last night, we had dinner at Casey Key Fish House in Osprey. Delicious fresh fish!

Overall, a fabulous stay in Venice and visiting the local area in southwest Florida. I highly recommend a stay at this lovely condo in your near future.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The walk to the beach was easy and pleasant. Since we enjoy biking it was wonderful to have the city bike trails so close.

Justin was quick to remedy any problems we had. A second towel bar in the bathroom and a full length mirror and darkening curtains in the bedroom would be a plus. However everything was clean and comfortable
