About Judi White
We are Judi and Graham White. Hi, The photo above shows or grandchildren from USA on a visit in April 2016. We were at Alligator Bay on the way to Mont St Michel. We have lived in Brittany since October 2007 having taken early retirement from our jobs as teacher and nurse. We have visited France for many years and have always loved Brittany. I am fortunate to be able to speak French and my husband is making very good progress. We lived in a busy town in the South of England and now live in a little hamlet of 5 houses all french owned. Every day here is a pleasure and we have not looked back. We both love meeting people, country pursuits, cooking reading and gardening. All our guests have loved it here and we have many repeat bookings. We aim to provide a comfortable home from home in a beautiful setting.
Judi White purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Judi White chose Tremblay
The cottage is in a perfect location for us . There are only 4 other houses in the hamlet and all our French neighbours have become friends. There is no light pollution or street lights! We have amazing stars and incredible sunsets, beautiful birds and butterflies and lots of garden to relax in. Even though we are in a rural location we are only minutes away from our nearest village . All the main tourist sites of Brittany and Normandy are within easy distance .
What makes this Cottage unique
Our property is around 300 years old and was originally a farmhouse. We have renovated it sympathetically with all the modern conveniences whilst still retaining original features. The location could not be more different to our previous home in the UK. We live in the beautiful Brittany countryside surrounded with fields and trees. The birds and wildlife are fascinating and our wild flower meadow attracts many bees and butterflies. If you are an animal lover this is a perfect location to bring your dog with many beautiful walks. Although a rural location we are only a 5 minute drive from the nearest village of Tremblay. There are many tourist attractions within a 15 minute drive and the stunning Mont St Michel is only 25 minutes away. The roads are very quiet and this is a perfect location for cycling and walking.
