BRAUNTON RIVERSIDE OVERVIEW

If you're looking for somewhere special to stay this summer, then this is the one for you! This gem of a holiday home is located just a 2 minute walk from the heart of Braunton, with its delightful shops, vibrant cafes, restaurants and bustling village atmosphere. Within easy reach are the superb beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe.

A central very quiet secluded location with 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 people, and a sofa bed providing informal sleeping for 2 extra people - please note a maximum of 4 adults.. An upmarket, newly furnished home, with the added luxury of a private hot tub and putting green; perfect for small families, friends and couples. Highlights include the freshly landscaped private garden with hot tub, Buschbeck BBQ and wood burning fireplace, fantastic multi-room audio system, underfloor heating in the shower room, and a sunny conservatory.

LIVING AREAS

Relax in the comfortable sitting room, thoughtfully furnished to a high standard and seating 5 people comfortably. A sofa bed can sleep 2 extra people. Excellent home entertainment includes a 46" flatscreen TV with BT Infinity TV and Freeview, smart Blu-ray player with Miracast, Bluetooth device dock location, and fantastic ‘whole house audio' system. There are linked speakers in the ceiling of both bedrooms, the bathroom, and kitchen. This can be controlled in each separate room (3 channels: BT Infinity BlueRay player or own Bluetooth player dock).

KITCHEN

A stylish, contemporary kitchen with quality appliances, including a built-in fridge and small floor-standing freezer. NEFF double oven and hob (2 gas & 2 electric), NEFF dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, as well as an excellent supply of pots, pans, kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery (including children's highchair). The extendable dining table seats 6 people. A bright, sunny conservatory extends from the kitchen/dining area, a lovely place to sit and have morning coffee.

BEDROOMS

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with king size bed and furniture for your belongings. Fully fitted wardrobes offer ample clothes storage space with chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with two single beds (not zip-link), and bedroom furniture. Fully fitted wardrobes with shelving offers ample storage.

A sofa bed in the lounge can accommodate 2 extra people - linen for this item will be charged at £30, which includes a set of bath towels. Travel cot available.

BATHROOMS

The main bathroom is a spacious shower room with large walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and the luxury of underfloor heating.

There is a second separate bathroom with WC and wash basin only.

OUTDOORS

There is a front and rear garden. A newly landscaped patio area and pretty rear enclosed garden, featuring a 2 hole putting green, practice your game or have a little family fun. Treat yourself to an evening soak in the privacy of your own hot tub! Spend sunny afternoons outside, with an outdoor table and seating for 4. The perfect place to relax in the sunshine or enjoy a summer BBQ, with a built-in charcoal BBQ and wood burning fireplace.

There is plenty of off-street parking space on the large driveway (for up to 4 cars if necessary). The garden also has retractable clothes drying lines and ample space for bicycle and surf board storage in the fenced rear patio area.

We have just had a great week at the above property which was excellent. It was spacious, very clean and exceptionally well thought out with good quality beds bedding and appliances.

We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing for a peaceful stay in a fabulous village with a luxury bungalow that is ideal for a couple or a family.

Great property

Lovely property in a great location. Lots of space in the property and well kitted out. We appreciated the audio system.

The hot tub was wonderful. We didn't realise we had to pay the supplement for this as it isn't made clear on this site. Choice Holidays were helpful in sorting it but it did take a bit of time.

Would definitely recommend this property and Braunton.

CYCLE TO - As well as a labyrinth of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes to explore access to the Tarka Trail is close by and opens up over 30 miles of old railway track bed. Mostly tarmacked and totally traffic free the trail passes through largely unspoilt countryside and woodland (as it was described by Henry Williamson in his classic novel ‘Tarka the Otter' first published in 1927), the trail also offers a glimpse of railway history with the old stations and signal boxes remaining, most have been refurbished and put to other public use such as cafes, museums or shops.

DRIVE TO - the beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are only a short drive away. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great for walkers. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, surfing, horse riding and kayaking are popular sports in the area. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in the beautiful part of England.
