Secluded Sanctuary With 1 King Bedroom, Tiled Full Bath, Laundry, Patio & Yard!

Enjoy evenings on your secluded patio with a private yard overlooking the city lights of Boulder at this one bedroom apartment with private entrance. This is the ideal base from which to enjoy Boulder! The well-appointed kitchen has a dishwasher, disposal, a multi pure water purifier (some people say lots of water is good for altitude adjustment here at 5000 ft!). The bedroom has a king sized bed and lots of closet space. The tiled bathroom features an adjustable height shower head and is stocked with unscented shampoo, crème rinse and soap. WiFi is provided along with a flat screen television. To store (out of the weather) your bikes, skis, etc., there is a lockable storage shed. The quiet residential neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing among long time Boulder residents, yet just walk up the stairs and you are on the 4th street portion of the Boulder bike/running path that circumnavigates the city and connects to everywhere.

Your exercise and outdoor recreation options are abundant. One of Boulder's recreation centers is just a few blocks away, and mountain trails for hiking, trail running, and climbing begin just one block away. Boulder Creek, which affords tubing, kayaking, and fishing, is just 12 short blocks away. Eldorado ski area, Indian Peaks Wilderness, and Rocky Mountain National Park, and Denver are all less than an hour away.

Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or whatever your preference, Boulder has plenty to offer. From gourmet to fast food, Boulder has restaurants offering cuisine from around the globe.

Boulder also offers plenty of live performance options from street performers on the Pearl Street Mall to symphony and Shakespeare in the magnificent Macky Auditorium on the University of Colorado campus to various acts at the art-deco Boulder Theater downtown, to E-town hall, Boulder is happening!

Watch for the deer in the yard, and the sun and the moon rise over Boulder from your east facing patio. No matter what you do, this charming apartment is the perfect place to call home while you are visiting Boulder.

About Rob and Leslie Justis

Rob and Leslie Justis met in high school in Wilmington, Delaware. Rob graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina and Leslie from Murray State University in Kentucky. Realizing they loved each other, they married after college. They have lived near Charleston, SC, then moved to Florida where they were entrepreneurs owning and operating a campground, canoe outfitting business, farm, retail outdoor store, cafe, and bed and breakfast. Then their only child went to the University of Colorado and married a Colorado gal. Rob and Leslie sold their businesses and moved to Boulder in 1997. Their son and his wife now have two granddaughters and live in nearby Longmont. Rob has been an active Realtor in Boulder since 1998.

Being in real estate Rob and Leslie saw this property come on the market and knew they wanted it due to its location, large lot size, and views over Boulder. The home was built in 1946 and had not been updated. Rob and Leslie completely remodeled the existing home and added a garage and the 1 bedroom apartment. The subject apartment is a legal rental unit and was completed in 2002.

We concur with all the other 5 star reviews. Lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet apartment, convenient to everything. Leslie and Robert are warm, friendly hosts. It was very hot during our weeklong visit. The apartment stayed cool and comfortable but the A/C was welcomed on those 95+ days. Can't wait to stay again on our next Boulder excursion. And, yes, the resident deer visited on several occasions!

Lovely place to stay.

Very Clean. Perfect for our needs. Beautiful neighborhood. Very nice people. We were met by the host as soon as we arrived. Felt very welcome. Location is good. Very close to Pearl St Mall.

The apartment is perfect, the location beautiful and the owners delightful. Spent 17 days in Boulder and could not have found a better place to stay. Clean, well equipped, and conveniently off Braodway, hope it's available next trip!

Boulder fans

My wife and I, who love the outdoors, stayed at this property for 4 nights and we personally couldn't give you a recommendation for improvements. The location was amazing, the apartment had all we were looking for and it was nice and quiet at the end of the day. You literally are 5 minutes away from fantastic hiking, downtown pearl street but also far enough away for the peace and quiet. Great stay.

Wonderful home away from home!

This apartment was a wonderful treat! I stayed for 3 months and had a fantastic time. Rob and Leslie were delightful hosts and provided absolutely everything I needed and many things I didn't know I wanted! The location was perfect for both mountain recreation and all the fun the town of Boulder has to offer. It was really hard to leave this lovely mountain retreat...and I will always hope that I get the chance to come back! I highly recommend this place for either a short or long stay!

This apartment is located on the western edge of Boulder, only a block from the open space that completely surrounds the town. This is a quiet residential neighborhood where it is common to have deer wander into the private back yard of the apartment. Yet it is only a 25 minute walk to Pearl Street's pedestrian mall with live music shows at the Boulder Theater and E-Town Hall, many excellent restaurants, unique shops and art galleries. Boulder is the home of the main campus for the University of Colorado, which offers PAC 12 sporting events, and great music and theater venues. There are miles and miles of trails to explore, by bike or on foot. There are multiple natural foods stores. Most restaurants offer gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options, yet if you like gourmet, our best restaurants are rated as the best in the state.
