It is a bright and cozy apartment with large and sunny terrace in front of Torrequebrada Golf. Living in Donna Maria gated complex is like exclusive club as the urbanization is very well looked after with full time gardeners employed, safe with CCTV cameras outside. The apartment benefits from a large terrace with nice furniture, bbq, a kitchen fully equipped, cold/hot air conditioner. It has very fast wi-fi and 40 inch smart TV with cable TV, Netflix and lots of different channels including UK channels (it is not uncommon that some other rental apartments can not offer this). There are 2 bedrooms: one en-suite with a double bed and a bathroom, and second with two single beds. Totally 2 bathrooms in apartment. The price of the apartment is for 4 persons. The living room has 2 sofas that are not used for sleeping. The apartment comes with a covered parking space. It is situated inside the gated and secure urbanization that has a swimming pool and garden with sun beds and parasols and some equipment to exercise. There are 20 minutes walk till the beach and the main street where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, casino. It is located 2 minutes from the entrance of Torrequebrada's Golf Club that is known as golfer's paradise (18 holes), 3 minutes from Bil Bil Golf (pitch and putt of 18 holes) and 4 min of Benalmadena Golf (9 holes). Also 5 minutes drive from the beach, 5 min till authentic Benalmadena Pueblo with nice restaurants.

I am an interior designer and a busy mum of two lovely boys. Together with my husband we run our own property management and design business in England. We currently live in Cambridge, in England- yes, we like nice places. We are happy to have such a nice holiday home in such a beautiful place and we come here to Spain for holidays very often. Our family bought this cozy apartment with a big terrace in a beautiful and exclusive area between the sea and mountains as we fell in love with a quiet neigborhood, friendly neighbors, all complex that is very well looked after with manicured garden and pool, the beautiful surroundings and of course the location as it is in front of the Torrequebrada golf that is known as golfers paradise in Spain. It is a perfect holiday home for our family. I personally love chilling in a terrace enjoying the mountain view that becomes very romantic in the late evening with all the small lights lighting up. There are months that we do not use our apartment and we are happy to offer it for other families to use it and enjoy the stay.
What makes this Apartment unique
In front of Torrequebrada golf (100 metres to the entrance). Big terrace. Covered parking space. There is wi-fi and cable TV with different channels including some channels in English (BBC, CNN, etc. It is not uncommon that some other rental apartments can not offer this). Great spacious apartment that catered for all our needs
Rugile was a fantastic host from when we made our booking until after we checked out. She went the extra mile by providing us with some insight to the area and things to do. She was also at the end of a phone available during our stay to answer any queries we had.
The apartment itself is very spacious with all the mod cons you would expect from home including satellite TV and Netflix. The free WiFi was certainly utilised by our 2 teenage sons.
The best bit for us was the large balcony which we used to sunbathe, chill and eat. It is that big that all three can happen at once.
The pool and gardens were very well maintained with people working on keeping them in good condition on a daily basis. It was very quiet when we were there and sometimes we had the pool to ourselves.
The apartment location is a good walk away from the local shops, bars and restaurants so transportation is recommended. However a nice leisurely stroll in the morning to the supermarket for fresh rolls and croissants kept us fit.
Overall I would recommend this place as a great place to relax in the home comforts you are used to with the additional benefit of the Mediterranean climate.
Stayed at Rugiles apartment from 16th of april to 10th of may 2018. A long period so needed a home from home and we were not disappointed the fully fitted kitchen had everything you needed, dishwasher very handy. Huge lounge with leather sofas great for watching movies and Netflix when weather not great, but the best part was the stunning terrace area boasting a huge seating area, sunbeds, table and chairs were we spent many afternoons and evenings barbequing and watching the sunset. Location is quiet amd tranquil overlooking the golf course the only disappointment was the tall trees which obscure your view . Neighbour Gabriella very helpful and friendly will be travelling back to spend many holidays here.
Very nice apartment
The apartment was found nice and clean when we arrived. Everything needed was there. Nice big terrace, with great lounge area. Would definitely choose this apartment again for another stay. Only minus was the view from the terrace (they need to cut down the trees on the golf course) Nice quite and safe area.
Beautiful property and surroundings
Had a really nice 3-night stay. Clear arrival instructions, apartment had all necessary equipment, clean, quite and beautiful surroundings next to Torrequebrada golf course. Terrace is big and nice to sit down for a drink & barbecue.Customer service excellent! Would absolutely recommend to friends and basically anyone.
Very spacious and secure apartment
My husband and I stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks and we were very impressed with the location and the security of this gated complex which is in close proximity to Torrequebrada Golf Club. The location is also good for anyone wishing to use the beach or also visiting Benalmadena Pueblo. A car is essential but the neighbour who helps to look after the apartment was very helpful in ringing us a taxi on the nights we met up with friends at local restaurants. The pool area was very clean with sun loungers and at the time I was there very quiet. The owner was also very helpful both before, during and after our stay.
This apartment is like the Curate's egg "good in parts". Spacious and bright in a quiet location (which suited us) it might be too far out of town for some. The inside was very clean but we found the terrace was unswept and the table very dirty. The stains on the terrace were explained by the owner as being candle wax and that it needed professional cleaning. The loose wax could have been swept up though had the terrace been swept!
It does have air conditioning but when on the kitchen gets unbearably hot due to the condenser unit being in the utility room. But we found the ceiling fans adequate for the bedroom and lounge. Wi-fi signal was strong but the TV does not have UK channels, but all films and foreign channels can be watched in English. Easy to find and all communications with the owner excellent. She asked for comments on our last day and responded favourably to a number of points I raised regarding small things that would enhance her guests stay. Bed was very comfortable and the linens nice.
Thank you for your comment. Your comments are valuable to us. Sorry for the candle wax stains in the terrace. We had a conversation with our cleaner and she has promised to keep the terrace spotless. It was one off and we haven't had any complaints about the terrace not being clean enough from other guests.
TV set is now upgraded to the large smart TV and gives much more options for viewing different TV channels.
The apartment is located in front of the golf, It is situated 100 metres from the entrance to the Club Torrequebrada Golf, 350 m from the Bil Bil Golf Club (Pitch Putt ) and restaurant Baboo . The complex is very well looked after, has full time employed gardeners, own library. Living in this complex is like exclusive club. The complex has a pool and gardens . It is also located 300 m from the Paddle Club Los Caballeros . A 600 m from the beach where you can enjoy of fishing and water sports. 20 minutes walk till the main street where you can find restaurants and supermarkets. It is only 2 km from the Marina of Benalmadena with nice pubs, restaurants and night clubs. 5 min.drive to beautiful Benalmadena Pueblo with it's nice small restaurants. It is located 700 m from the Casino of Torrequebrada. The neighbourhood is very quiet and ideal for jogging . You can also have fun at the paragliding school ( 1 km). There is a naturist beach at 800 m .There are many tour companies in Benalmadena that do a day excursion to Nerja, the Caves and Frigiliana. There are many activities for children: Tivoli park, butterfly museum, crocodile zoo, sea life museum, dolphin and whale watching activities, lots of fun activities in park de Paloma.
Benalmadena has a grat climate with an average of 325 days of sunshine .
