A charming cottage in a medieval village at the heart of Burgundy w/free WiFi

Loved the location and the wine tour! Everything we needed for a fabulous week in Burgandy!

We had a fabulous week. The property was very well equipped, everything of the best quality and very comfortable.

Nolay has the most beautiful square, perfect to sit with a coffee, looking at the lovely church and picturesque buildings. There are several places to eat, two patisseries and a well stocked supermarket. The tourist information office is very good. We bought our wine from the Cave in Nolay recommended by Pierre and Valerie.

There are so many places to see and things to do in and around the area.

We cycled along the very pretty Voie Verte route to Santenay, a pretty village where we had coffee in the square and walked to the Chateau.

Meursault is another lovely village where we had a very good lunchtime meal in the courtyard of the Hotel du Centre, so much so we returned later in the week. The fixed price menu is good.

Beaune is worth a day trip, lovely architecture, independent shops and places to eat.

Pierre and Valerie gave us a lovely welcome and were very helpful throughout our stay.

Good food, good wine and good weather in such a lovely place.

We certainly hope to return.

This is a lovely little house set in a quaint old town. The house is spotless and the beds are very comfortable, in fact everything was perfect. Valerie, the owner, is full of helpful suggestions to help you make the most of your stay. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to see and do. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday home if you are looking for a quiet getaway with really good food and wine in a very comfortable setting.

This is a beautiful, modern and very well equipped gite. We met the owner, Pierre, on arrival who explained everything in great detail and then walked us around the village pointing out all the restaurants, boulangeries, eating places, bars, etc, and gave us more information on the area. The gite is in perfect condition and we had a very comfortable and happy week. The beds are so comfortable and everything so clean. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the village centre which has a nice square with bar and restaurants and a beautiful church. There are two boulangeries, one of which we regularly visited for gorgeous bread and patisserie, a well stocked supermarket and a larger one just a couple of minutes away in the car. The restaurants are good and basically the gite and location met all our needs. Pierre was also available for any questions during the week and showed he really cares about his guests. We had the pleasure of meeting his wife as well when we bumped into them one evening in one of the village restaurants. We certainly hope we can visit again one day.
