A two bedroom holiday lodge in Piddinghoe, East Sussex.
Set within a farm estate, and located in the village of Piddinghoe, Brooks Lodge is an architecturally designed eco lodge, an annexe of an 18th Century barn. It has been restored beautifully, and the finished product is an exclusive, rural retreat. Both of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and both have super kingsize beds, which can be configured to twin beds on request. Two wet rooms are also on the ground floor. Upstairs is the elegantly decorated living room, and kitchen diner which has doors to a patio terrace. A second terrace area is reached from the principal bedroom downstairs.
The village of Piddinghoe offers direct access to the River Ouse, and this area is a good option for walkers, as there is a good number of footpaths and bridleways.
The South Downs Way is also within easy reach at the village of Southease.
The historic town of Lewes is just five miles away, and well worth a visit with its galleries, boutiques and the townhouse of Anne of Cleves.
