Note that there isn't a sidewalk full of pedestrians in front of the patio like in most So.Cal. beach towns. Prepare meals in the gourmet Kitchen, with top-of-the-line appliances and master chef utensils, and host elegant dinner parties in the Dining Room which seats 8. What makes this house unique

There is not a sidewalk full of pedestrians in front of the patio like at most beach towns in Southern California. So it is unique in that you have true privacy on the patio and in the other living areas.

Vacation Perfection

Stayed at the beach house with my wife and three children and it was the perfect get-away spot. First, you cannot beat the location. Loved watching the view, enjoying the nightly sunsets and listening to the waves pound gently all night. Second, the house itself is well appointed, clean and has everything you would need for a restful vacation stay. Finally Playa del Rey was a great base to explore the LA area. In particular, we enjoyed spending time in Manhattan Beach which was less than 10 minutes away. The owners were accommodating, welcoming, available and great resources for our stay as well. I'd recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Life's a beach house

This location was perfect, my children woke up and raced to the beach each morning. They also enjoyed the park across the street. The 10 minute drive to LAX made pick ups and drop offs much easier. There was so much storage space in the house, many bathrooms, fireplaces and the outside fire pit was the hit! The views from the livingroom and master bedroom were photographed frequently!

The best experience from this particular rental (b/c i rent frequently), were the owners and manager. We felt very taken care of and enjoyed our interaction with Frank and Darren.

Look no further, this is the LA beach rental you want!

Don't look any further, this is the beach rental you want! From our initial correspondence to our final farewell, the owners were amazing to deal with and always got back to us promptly. They accommodated our early arrival which was super appreciated. The house is exactly as pictured and very spacious and well maintained. The beds were super comfortable and everything was in working order. We are so happy we chose this rental in Playa Del Ray. Spending the day at the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach, it was SO lovely to return to this rental well removed from the "noise" of the day. The beach was so quiet and peaceful and felt very safe. We slept with the masters' glass doors open and were lulled to sleep by the waves. The location of the house is super close and we enjoyed a delicious dinner @ Caffe Pinguini in the downtown area (5min walk from the house). We would not hesitate recommending this rental to others and would love to return again some day. We searched long and hard for a good beach rental in this area and Santa Monica/Venice Beach area, the best part of this one is that you have the ENTIRE house. No one beside you, above you, under you etc... totally worth the splurge! Lastly, the proximity to the neighbours was a non issue, seemed that everyone abides by the noise laws after 10pm, all we heard was the waves!

Excellent Stay!

I rented the house for a couple days to host a team meeting. Frank and Darren were overly accommodating and helpful. The house was in incredible condition for our arrival, and they were both available for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely book again!

Awesome Experience!

I had an amazing weekend at this location. The property is nice and the scenery is to die for. The neighbors are really nice and made the stay that much more enjoyable for me and my friends. Prefect location for holiday travelers. I highly recommend.

Great experience!!! Definitely coming back!!

Overall we all had a great time. There can't be a more perfect place than this for families with kids. The house was great, well furnished and very welcoming. Our kids played right outside the house in the sand while we relaxed and entertained ourselves. Our friends who visited us because I had planned my husband s 40th surprise birthday here were also amazed with the place! We played volleyball, rode bikes (available in the house), and enjoyed being on the beach very much!! We will definitely come back soon. I recommend this to anyone and everyone; it's a lovely place!!
