In 1992, I graduated from college and moved to Chicago with my college roommates. Twenty plus years later, I am still living in and loving Chicago. I am a computer programmer, avid reader and movie fan. I am looking forward to being your host!
Jeanne Schuster purchased this apartment in 2014
I bought this property because it is well located and in my favorite Chicago neighborhood. The neighborhood is close to public transportation, high end and casual restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, parks, and music venues. Even though you are living in a huge city, there is a friendly and safe neighborhood feel.
Everything was great! We even had fresh flowers in the house:). Nice touch. We really really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to do it again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Good sized living room, dining room and kitchen. Everything was above expectations. Garage was perfect. Bedrooms are small but what you would expect in a home of this age. Comfy beds and furniture.
Great location, great owner, and great residence. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Loved the location of the home and the neighborhood.
Our stay was perfect! Great location. The home is so well put together. Owner was helpful and we always felt we could reach out to her if we needed anything. Of course, she had thought of everything and we wanted for nothing during our stay. All those special little touches, like instructions on the television, take out menus, fresh flowers on the table.... Thank you for making our visit to Chicago a wonderful memory!
Five women from my family stayed comfortably in this house. While there is only one bathroom, we staggered our bathroom time and managed fine. We were impressed by how clean the entire place was! It was only a 15 minute drive to downtown so the location worked out well as we drove into downtown each day for 3 days. Public transportation is close but we didn't take advantage of it. We walked to Lou Malnati's Pizzeria for great pizza one evening. There are coffee shops, a grocery store, banking, etc. all within walking distance. Our host, Jeanne, was most accommodating and had menus in the house of various nearby restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio for a glass of wine after a long day. All in all, I'd come back here in a heartbeat. We all loved our stay here and highly recommend it.
We had five women on a baseball trip. It was so nice and spacious everything we needed. Walked to breakfast and grocery store. Host was super nice and informed us on where to eat. Will definely will stay again. We used uber to go to downtown.
Located in the desirable Northcenter neighborhood there is something for everyone. Walking distance to public transportation, high end and casual dining, local brewery, bars, coffee shops, movie theater, public library, parks, art galleries, bowling alley, grocery stores, drug stores, farmers market (seasonal), dry cleaners.
