Preferred guests are couples wishing to enjoy peace and quiet, respectful of the estate’s owners’ proximity. Maximum occupancy is 2, with the possibility for a cot for child up to the age of 2. Approx. 3 km below Sternes are the sandy beaches of Loutraki and Marathi. Both have shallow, crystal-clear waters, are well protected from the northerly winds of July and August, and are favorites among both tourists and locals alike. There are 3 places to eat in Loutraki; a beach café, a grill-taverna, and another lunch tavern. Marathi has a slightly larger selection of restaurants, one of them, Patrelantonis, considered to be one of the best restaurants in Chania. Equally good but with fewer selections on its menu is the beach fish-café of Rokakis. Fishermen in the family assure fresh fish and seafood on a daily basis.
