Housed in a classified 18th century building, this extraordinary apartment has been fully renovated by its American and French owners and their talented interior architects, the Paris-based ‘double g’. The décor is an eclectic mix of the classics and the contemporary, featuring art from such notables as Candida Hofer, Saul Leiter, and Alexander Calder. There are four marble fireplaces, and the striking hardwood floors are original 18th century parquet, featuring the classic ‘Versailles’ motif. There is an elevator to the apartment, albeit a tiny one, and there is air conditioning in each of the bedrooms.

Where I'd Stay's St Sulpice apartment is an extraordinary property, located in the heart of the most prestigious part of Paris, steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, Blvd St Germain, the St Sulpice church, the covered food market Marché St Germain, and the world renowned patisserie Gerard Mulot. The flat is quite large for the neighborhood, and its 12 foot ceilings, original molding, 5 marble chimneys, and 'Versailles' parquet marks are all rare for the neighborhood, signaling that it's been a luxury property since it was built in the late 1700s.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautifully designed apartment. The rooms are spacious, decor is impeccable, and the apartment is very well located, with wonderful restaurants, patisseries, boutiques, a charming food market, all a stone's throw away. the apartment has been very thoughtfully equipped with high quality amenities, appliances and accessories. Metro access is also wonderful. All in all, the perfect Parisien hideaway. Thankyou Ashley for sharing your home with us.
My husband and I brought our two children, ages four and eleven, to Paris for a week and absolutely loved our accommodations. The apartment was gorgeous, with unique design pieces perfectly placed, and every detail thought out. Light flooded the apartment through the gorgeous, large french windows. And we appreciated the fact that each room had adequate black out curtains for sleeping. The neighborhood could not have been better. We were out of the tourist trap and felt like local Parisians. Some of our best meals were found randomly within a two minute walk from the apartment. The shopping was wonderful, and we were within walking distance of the Luxembourg Gardens, the best children's park in Paris in our opinion. Great place to stay!

Terms and conditions as summarized in our introductory email. Payments are non-refundable, unless we can find someone else to take your dates, in which case we charge a 20% admin fee. (Note that this has happened twice in 5 years, and we were successful both times!) These seemingly draconian terms are standard for luxury flats in Paris, which often book up 6-12 months in advance.
