My name is Juanita and I am a native of Bermuda, a former Police Officer and a Certified Tour Guide/Ambassador of Bermuda.
This property is just to the West of our Capital, Hamilton Bermuda and we consider it to be in the best location for easy access to any attraction Island wide.
Our property is so strategically placed that many of your amenities are literally within a 2 - 3 min walk. Whether you are travelling on a tight budget or not, this location will allow you to save money, for there will be no need for Cabs.

The best thing I can say about this place is that The property was in a good location. The owner advertised on the site that she would be able to arrange transportation however when requested I was told that she was unable to do so. When we arrived at the apartment, the place appeared clean but during my stay I saw several cockroaches which I am not accustomed to seeing and considering there was two cans of bug spray in the cabinet I'm sure this has been an ongoing problem . Halfway through the week the Wi-Fi went out and when I notified the owner she said that she was looking into it but it never came back on. Previous reviews spoke of how welcoming this owner was and how she went out of her way to share information about the island and places to go visit but that was not our experience. My biggest disappointment was receiving a message after I returned home accusing me of damaging a closet door which was already in that condition when I arrived and that my security deposit was being with held because of soiled linens. One would expect on a beach location that Linens would get soiled with sunblock oil and a rental property owner should expect to have to periodically replace stained and soiled linens and towels. Beware if you want your security deposit money back, bring your own towels and linens. Considering that my family took the time to clean up and make sure that we left the place looking exactly as it was when we arrived i am really pissed off!
When we arrived, Mrs. Jones greeted us with a smile! The two bedroom, two bath room was perfectly located. Close to a grocery store and other accommodations. Although it was not my first travel to the lovely island of Bermuda and I was not in need of any transportation - the stay is highly recommended!! Very spacious and I look forward to renting again from Juanita soon!
The home was spacious, clean and tranquil. I stayed there with my husband, uncle, 3 year old, 8 year old and 19 year old.
It was a short walking distance from a supermarket

This was our 1st time spending Christmas away from home for my family and I. Also our first time using Homeaway. We had such a good time and couldn't ask for a better rental. Especially, the rental owner Juanita was gracious, fabulous and hospitalable. The place was described accurately. The property was well kept and clean.
We couldn't ask for better customer service. Our stay did not feel like a transaction, it felt like we were visiting family.
With Juanita being a tour guide on the island, we were also able to experience her vast knowledge of her beautiful island. She also engaged our preteen girls while on the tour? On our final evening on the island we enjoyed a nice evening of dancing and dinner at St. Catherine's, along with Juanita.

Only a 3 minute walk from our rental property is the Riddell's Bay Golf Course, which opened in 1922 and is the oldest golf course in Bermuda. Also within a 3 minutes walk from the property is the Heron Bay Market Place, Island Cuisine Restaurant and our Public Transportation System that will carry you to the West and to the East sides of the Island. A must see attraction in the West is the Royal Naval Dockyard which offers great history of our Island as well as shopping, restaurants, Bermuda's Rum Cake factory and much more. To get to the Royal Naval Dockyard you must pass over the smallest draw bridge in the world, the Somerset Bridge. Some other attractions are Fort Scaur, the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and one of the most famous beaches in the world, the Horseshoe Beach where you will find the most beautiful turquoise water and pink sand.
The capital of Bermuda is the City of Hamilton which is centrally located on the Island. In the City you will find the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, St. Theresa's Catholic Cathedral, Libraries, Bermuda's main Port, Shopping and the Business district.
Our simplistic bus system and friendly drivers will help you navigate all over the Island with ease. So continuing to the East would be a breeze where many more attractions await you. A must see is the Historic Town of St. George, Bermuda's first capital, Fort St. Catherines, St. Peter's Church, the Crystal Caves, the Bermuda Aquarium & Zoo and Gibbons Gardens.
Bermuda is so unique. Whether you explore by public transportation, moped or private taxi/mini bus you will be intrigued by its charm, beauty and allure.
