The cottage is close to two village pubs, village shops with local produce, pretty craft shops, coffee shop and galleries; it is a taste of the good old days. The coastal path and the pretty beach at Hartland Quay is just 2 miles and the famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are an easy drive. There are numerous National Trust properties in the area, as well as the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Hartland Abbey is well worth a visit, along with many other local beauty spots including Bucks Mills and Clovelly or hire a bike and explore the nearby Tarka Trail. Being situated right on the border in Hartland of Devon and Cornwall makes this ideal for exploring the far south west coastline or the perfect spot for surfing with Widemouth Bay and Puttsborough beaches within easy reach.
