This gorgeous, light & peaceful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft apartment is located in a Grade 1 listed Georgian building on a wide, pedestrianised street. Duke Street is an ideal location for all your city needs with all the sights of Bath within easy reach. Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths & Bath’s many delightful shops are a short stroll from the apartment & Bath Rugby’s ground is a mere 2 minutes walk along the river towards Pulteney Bridge. In addition, there are many fabulous restaurants on your doorstep including the acclaimed 'Sotto Sotto’ on North Parade. When you return for the day you'll be able to put up your feet & gaze at the glorious view of Bathwick Hill & the distant Sham Castle to relax & rejuvenate before the next day.

To help with that home to home feeling there is free Wifi, a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer & the comfiest beds we could find. A highchair, cot or extra single bed can be also provided on request. In addition a widescreen TV & DVD player with DVDs of some of the many films shot in Bath over the years are waiting for you.

If you fancy some exercise, Bath Leisure Centre with a pool, gym & exercise classes is a hop and a skip over North Parade Bridge. Whilst for those fresh air fiends, the canal can be easily accessed for walks/runs/cycle to Bathampton (3 miles) & beyond. Bikes can be hired locally or you can bring your own & keep them in Georgian House's basement bike store (please bring your own lock). The canal is also a lovely way to walk to the Holburne Museum.

Georgian House is an amalgamation of three Georgian townhouses & has retained its grand feature staircase from its hotel past. Whilst walking up the wide, shallow steps is different from your usual Georgian building, this apartment is on the 3rd floor. The 1930's lift is there for those who'd like to use it & is very handy when you have heavy suitcases.

A 5 minute level walk from Bath Spa Train & Bus Station, public transport is the best way to visit Bath. If however you need to bring your car Georgian House has a central zone parking permit so that you can park for free in permit spaces on a first come, first served basis.

Beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with another couple, enjoyed our stay. The flat was very clean and was comfortable. It was very convenient to lots of attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Convenient, quiet and comfortable flat

  • 5 of 5

This flat is just as a described. It is a great location from which to explore Bath. Bath is very walkable anyway, and this flat is walking to distance to all the major sights, but also close to grocery stores and restaurants. It is quiet and roomy and has a lovely view of the canal. There is plenty of space and storage, and the separate kitchen is well equipped. Our last couple of days the weather started to warm up and we were glad to have fans provided for each bedroom. Rachel is a communicative and helpful host. She was readily available by phone and patiently explained to me how to use the European appliances. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment - great location!

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was lovely and really clean with an incredible view. There were some amenities missing which would have been useful, like cleaning products and kitchen roll but other than this we had everything we needed - the coffee machine was great. The building was an amazing old Georgian style typical of Bath with a historic lift. Perfect location to explore Bath everything was in walking distance - I would definitely recommend it! Rachel was really helpful and always on hand to help out with any queries.

Central location, beautiful views

  • 5 of 5

The location, a couple of blocks from Bath Abbey, provides a central location to tour Bath. The unit itself is comfortable and clean. Accessing the unit on check in was easy; Rachel tells you everything you need to know. But do read the instructions. The River Avon provided a wonderful backdrop. If I have to give a con, it would be parking. The nearest available parking is Manvers Street, which is free overnight, but several pounds during the day. There is residential parking behind the building, but there were never any free spots during our short visit.

Great location, lovely flat.

  • 5 of 5

Just stayed two nights in the Georgian house and loved it. Flat was very nice, roomy. Stayed with my husband and two adult daughters and there was plenty of room. Washer and dryer was helpful. Used the kitchen for quick breakfasts and it was fine. Working with Rachel was great. She was very responsive. We arrived in Bath at noon and she accommodated us by letting us in to the flat early. Her directions and instructions were helpful and informative. Would recommend the Georgian House.

Very comfortable flat in center of Bath

  • 5 of 5

This is a well decorated, comfortable flat in the very heart of Bath, but slightly away from the most crowded areas. The views across the river to the hills beyond are very refreshing. The kitchen and baths are nicely updated. The beds are comfortable. The linens are fresh. The sitting room is comfy. In short, there is nothing not to like here. There are three incredible restaurants just a few short steps from the front door: Greek, Italian and Spanish tapas. We hightly recommend Rachel's lovely apartment.
