Description

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday mas in Cros - Large gite

Gite 2604

Separate farmhouse at the heart of an exceptional site, overlooking hundreds of hectares of unspoilt nature, the hamlet of the Comte will welcome couples or groups (30 persons) in the gites and bedrooms. Facing the horizon, with a true silence which is quite rare, you will discover the beauty of this complex of buildings where the artist who patiently renovated them with respect and creativity lives. You will touched by the thousands of details in the layout of the place, the spaces, the bedrooms and the living/dinning rooms. The 20 hectares of the property will invite you for a walk, to be alone or to discover the varied fauna. Roe deers, boars, badgers, foxes, jaybirds, woodpeckers, buzzards or eagles wheeling up in the sky will attract your eye or your ear. The richness of the geography and of the archaeology will allow you to swim in clear waters, climbing, hiking, or to discover World Heritage Sites: the Pont du Gard, the bullrings, cities...you are welcome.

Peaceful and protected, this former place of resistance and disobedience, set in wild nature and effervescent vitality, contributes to the re-discovery of a natural lifestyle of thousands of years old. The rhythm of the seasons, the materials directly taken from the mountain and the forest, have shaped as much the habitat as the inhabitant and questions us, as much in our need of rest and relaxation as in our quest of sense and solutions.

To stay a while in this place is reviving this old love story between men and stones to build on the sides of the mountains some shelters to live their freedom, and to lay in it the softness, the openness and the fantasy of a peace that was slowly gained.

Each space, each room, each bedroom, each detail will show it by inviting you to live the simple luxury of a generous creativity, away from the commercial preoccupations. All of those who tasted its spirit show it and keep it in their hearts. We invite you to stay a while.

Endroit magique et splendide

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
