This downstairs (no stairs) unit offers one of the best views in Ke Nani Kai. These views can be enjoyed from the lanai, kitchen, living room/dining room, or the bedroom while standing, sitting, or stretching out!
SLEEP COMFORTABLY on a Serta Perfect Sleeper, queen-size mattress in the bedroom. This mattress is so comfortable that if someone tosses and turns all night, the other person never knows it! Mahalo Rose! Loved everything. Had perfect weather the whole 7 days; sunshine & wind or breezes from the NE. The many beaches and tide pools are very special. Thanks for giving us Eddie Tanaka's name. His tour of the Halawa Valley & falls was fabulous and educational too. We learned so much Hawaiian history from him; his dedication to cultural tradition is inspiring. We hope he has his way and that Molokai remains un-spoiled. Oh yes -- loved watching the humpbacks breach, from our lanai! We'll try to return!
Rose has paid attention to detail; the condo was a lovely, comfortable place to stay. It was clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the early mornings and evenings on the patio and the comfort of the bed and linens for sleeping. We enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The place was nicely decorated and had a peaceful ambiance. Rose did a great job of providing information on places to go and things to do. She also responded immediately when we needed her help with the wifi.
Regarding the restaurants on the island, I would recommend The Cookhouse Restaurant for friendly service and good food. I would also stay away from the Molokai Hotel Restaurant. Apparently things have gone down hill. We found the restaurant to be poorly managed and the food mediocre at best.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Rose.
This was our 4th visit to Molokai and our 3rd time staying in Ke Nani Kai #115. We wouldn't consider staying elsewhere. This unit delivers in every way. It is better than advertised and the owner, Rose is extremely helpful and responsive. Each time we stay there are improvements to the condo and/or furnishings. You really don't need to bring anything beyond your clothes and personal needs in this condo. In addition to the furnishings, we believe the location is the best at Ke Nani Kai. The view from the lanai are unobstructed and beautiful….no buildings, no parking lots, no walkways. The condo is very private and you can watch the sunset from the lanai. The condo also has a nice pool and jacuzzi, along with a bar-b-que area. Best place to come and think about nothing else but relaxing. Love it here! Looking forward to booking for next year.
Very well kept and updated condo with peekaboo view to the ocean from lanai. Quiet area for those who are seeking rest and relaxation with no crowds. We never made it to the pool, but adventures out to find beaches was a lot of fun (4-wheel drive recommended if it recently rained). Beaches on the west end are not for swimming or snorkeling except on very calm days, but that should not deter you if you seek beach solitude (it's rare to come across other people on the west end beaches).
One week of total decompression away from crowds, traffic, and the night sky is INCREDIBLE! The sights and sounds of birds, wild turkeys, peacocks, and Axis deer ("Barking Deer") is a charming PLUS to vacationing on the west end of Molokai.
This was our second trip to Molokai and first stay in #115. We will definitely try to book this unit on our next trip.
My wife and I stayed here for the month of November, 2014. We had a marvelous time. The condo is exactly as advertised. Fully and beautifully equipped, really comfy bed, and a smart TV with a gazillion channels. And Molokai; well, it’s the friendly isle, with a population of about 8,000 and no traffic lights. Where else can you take a most-memorable mule ride down sea cliffs to a National Historic Site? If you want the mob scene and a more hectic pace, there’s always Maui. If you want peace and relaxation, then this is the place. Rose provides the most thorough package of info imaginable: what to do, where to go, who to call--it was fabulous.
My wife and I stayed in Rose’s condo during the month of April 2014. We had a great time. Rose is very friendly, efficient, thorough. and very easy and helpful to deal with. Her well equipped condo has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The ocean view from her lanai is spectacular. Within easy walking distance are many great trails to beautiful sandy beaches. Molokai is truly the “friendly isle”. You can experience all the Hawaiian beauty and greatest weather on earth, without the traffic and commotion of the other islands. Rose provides helpful detailed information about the island and suggestions about things to do. If you have time, I suggest you do all of them. We did, and I know we will be back.
This charming condo has just about everything one could want to enjoy a week of peace and quiet on this lovely island. Our hostess, Rose, has put a lot of thought into making this a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If you want night life, this is not the place for you. But for us - it was perfect! What we especially liked was the list of "things to do" supplied by Rose, and we were able to check off several items on the list and still had plenty of time to enjoy #28 - "Sit on the lanai and relax!" Something we don't do nearly often enough!
We knew ahead of time that we wanted to take the Mule Ride to Kalaupapa and had signed up for that in advance of our stay on Molokai. I must say that the mule ride was quite the experience for these old bones, but we are so glad we made the choice to go. Rose has the book "Molokai" by Alan Brennert in her library and I took the time to read it before we rode down to Kalaupapa, so that made the trip even more impressive. We were privileged to be able to learn more about the its history and the unfortunates who were forced to live there.
If you've never been to Molokai I would encourage you to come, see and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Friendly Island. We're so happy we made that choice! Aloha!

Our condo sits overlooking the 8th fairway of the 18 hole Kaluakoi Golf Course (currently closed). This is a Ted Robinson designed golf course with many holes with water views (Closed 4/2008). In addition, the island offers Ironwood Hills, a 9 hole course found up in the highlands. Our condominium has the only tennis courts on the west end of the island. Make sure that you plan to visit Kalaupapa by mule, plane or hike in/out to see the Hansen Disease Colony before all the patients are gone and the tours end. The Nature Conservancy offers tours to the Rain Foreest and the Sand Dune Preserves. Hike to the water falls on the east end in Halawa Valley. Visit the Molokai Coffee Farm - the Macadamia Nut Farm - The Molokai Salt Farm - the Meyer Sugar Mill and Museum and the many historical fish ponds and churches throughout the island. Kayak the southern shore or snorkel/
