About the property

This is an oversized 2 bed / 2 bath. Much more space than similar units.

This newly-renovated condo is 300 square feet bigger than most of the 2 bed / 2 bath units. It is on the top floor, with vaulted ceilings and a view of the slopes. It has a patio with views. Both bathrooms are were renovated in 2016. This is simply the nicest 2-bedroom in River Run.


Future Rates - Currently, the rates are set through 1/4/2020. If you are looking to book after that date, please reach out for a quote.

Negotiating Rates - I set rates that I feel are appropriate. I'm not likely to negotiate rates as I already set the rates at a fair level for this property and time of year. I just say this because I seem to get 2-3 offers per day below the quoted rates. I would rather save us both the time, and let you know that what you see is what you get.

Minimum Stay - We accept one-night stay requests for Sunday through Thursday nights. However, if a stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, we usually require a two-night minimum. The exception is if the property is only available for one night.

Parking - The unit is only guaranteed on garage spot. We haven't had issues parking a second car as long as it isn't a crazy-busy weekend, but please know that only one spot is guaranteed.

If you are going to Keystone, River Run is the place to stay. Access to pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and walking distance to the gondola.

Buffalo Lodge offers complimentary Wifi, underground garage parking, ski storage, laundry facilities and outdoor hot tubs on site.

Sleeping accommodations: King, Queen, Queen sofa sleeper

The main lobby of the building includes two pool tables for guests to use, plenty of seating, a large flat screen TV and gas fireplace. Guests of Buffalo Lodge also enjoy full use of The Dakota outdoor heated pool and hot tub area, open year round and located adjacent to Buffalo Lodge.

We have a 2-night minimum if the reservation includes a Friday or Saturday night.

Most River Run properties have (sub)standard finishes. If you look at pics from other properties, be sure to notice:

- Cheap furniture

This property has had $60K in renovation/upgrades. If you are already investing time/money in your vacation, make sure you choose a nice place to stay.

What makes this condo unique

When I was shopping for a condo in River Run, I was surprised at how many of the 2 bed / 2 bath units had really small living/dining areas. I finally found an oversized unit and it was worth the investment. Don't make the mistake of renting a condo that doesn't have enough space to enjoy company. Also, the standard finishes in River Run are rather cheap (think mid-90s finishes). This unit was upgraded with appliances, granite, tile, TVs, etc. I hope you enjoy it!

Cute Mountain Condo

This small 2 bedroom has fun decor and a king and full size bed with a pull out couch. The balcony is tiny and nothing special. Loved the kitchen and proximity to resort activities. A few things, portable air conditioners are weird and hard to vent out the master window, laundry is coin operated and down the hall. Exercise facilities are off site, Buffalo Lodge seems a bit dated and worn but the condon has been nicely updated. Overall we enjoyed our short stay and appreciated early check in.

Beautiful Condo!

This is a beautifully decorated condo! It's located in the Buffalo Lodge at Keystone Village - a fun atmosphere, surrounded by restaurants and shops! We visited in late June and the weather was awesome for hiking near the Dillon Reservoir and strolling through Frisco and Breckenridge. The balcony faces the ski slopes, it must be beautiful in the winter months.

Awesome Spring Break with Family

Beautiful condo in great location. Customer Service always available to answer any questions. Considering it was the first time I took my family of 4 out West to ski/board, I thought it went extremely smoothly. Wife & kids were happy & had a great time. I know it wasn't Colorado's best Snow year but being from Ohio, it was still amazing. All lifts were open & seemed like plenty of snow on the slopes to us. River Run Village is very cute. Everyone we came across was very friendly & helpful. Would stay there again.

It's Fine

The condo was fine -- just not exactly what I expected. From the pictures it looks quite light -- it is not. But it is roomy and in a good location. It is as pictured -- just much darker. You should know that parking is limited to one car. If you have a second car you need to park it in the Keystone overflow lot about 3 miles away. Fair enough -- but we were unable to get that information from him or his office. Not exactly a responsive group. Would have been nice if that had been disclosed in the book in the condo. Also we found in the morning that the Keurig didn't work. Luckily there is a Starbucks within walking distance, but it was just one more thing that wasn't quite right. All in all it was fine. But I felt that I paid a bit of a premium, and it didn't completely live up to my expectations.

For future renters, I would like to point out that this is the first 3-star review that the property has received in the 3+ years we've been renting it. I was puzzled with the comments on it being dark as you can clearly see where there are (and are not) windows. Keurigs can be finicky and we will certainly make sure it is fixed. With parking, that is determined by Keystone resorts. Every unit in every building gets one spot.

Fantastic condo close to gondola!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the condo at Keystone/Buffalo Lodge!

Well-appointed and clean...what else can you ask for? We will definitely be staying here again. One of the nicer condos we have stayed in at Keystone. Amenities were plenty! You do have to go down the road for the fitness center/spa, but most of your exercise comes directly from the slopes so no problem! Quick, walking access to the slopes and easy access to the ski lockers. Owner was great to work with and promptly answered all of our questions prior to our stay! Loved it!
