Beautiful villa with amazing views
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. The agent who met us at the property was welcoming and helpful. The villa is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The grounds are lovely - a beautiful and large garden with a lovely pool - though it did need to be cleaned with the net a few times a day. The views across the garden to the mountains and Selva are absolutely stunning.
The villa feels remote - which we liked - yet is just a 5-10 minute drive from Inca and the very lovely and authentically Spanish village of Selva, which is well worth visiting, particularly in the evening.
We stayed at the villa with our 15 month old baby. A high chair, a changing mat and a wooden cot (not a travel cot) with a good mattress and linen were all provided, which was great. The villa is semi open plan which meant that once we put the baby to bed we were mindful of how much noise we made in the kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Not a big deal but something to be aware of if you plan to stay with babies/children who are light sleepers.
The only negative comment we have is that the only part of the villa that is air conditioned is the bedroom area, which we weren’t aware of before we arrived. We stayed in the villa in July and it did feel uncomfortably hot in the other parts of the villa, even after sunset. We did sit out on the very lovely veranda a couple of evenings but got bitten by mosquitos, despite lighting citronella candles.
Overall though a beautiful property in a beautiful setting and we would return.
