About Greg Dean and Steve Sherry

Steve Sherry and Greg Dean

That's us. 15 yrs partnered and recently tied the knot (thank you WV) We took pride in and Loved our little home for the last 15 yrs. 3 arduous years of restoration later and we're ready to share it with the world. We're lucky to live right next door in the Home we're NOW working to restore.

While Steve commutes to work in Bethesda each day, Dean stays home doing K9 rescue.

Our weekends are filled with friends and family often visiting.

Recently we hosted the wedding of our oldest daughter.... ahh the memories.

Pretty easy going and reasonable we'll strive to make your stay as wonderful as the last decade has been for us.

Greg Dean and Steve Sherry purchased this house in 2001

Why Greg Dean and Steve Sherry chose West Virginia

Just like i believe there's someone for everyone, I also believe there's a place for everyone.

Steve and Dean feel this village with it's Circa 1840 atmosphere is more than just home for them.

In 2001, we met the most wonderful resident of Harpers Ferry, and then she sold us her home. 15 yrs later, we're still best friends with her.

What makes this house unique

Quaint and charming are two overused words, but they really do describe the B n B.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time during our visit to Harpers Ferry. The views from the porch are great for a cup of coffee in the morning or an evening glass of wine. There is so much to do and see in the area. We spent our days hiking, wine tasting, white water rafting and soaking up the view for this incredible spot. We hope to make it back someday soon. I imagine the fall is breathtaking!

Utterly charming and comfy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Harpers Ferry and especially our stay at the Bed 'n' Biskit! The accomodations were lovely! We especially enjoyed sipping wine on the porch while people walked below and didn't even know we were there!

A unique gem

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time here in Harpers Ferry. The house is so cozy and unique, we especially liked the cute balcony overlooking the high street where we could sit watching the world go by and see the river. Greg and Dean were very welcoming and allowed our children to visit their new born puppies. We could ride our bikes from the front door right over the bridge onto the Potomac bike path so the location was perfect. I cant think of anything to improve, there was even a bottle of wine to welcome us. Highly recommended.

Sweet spot in Harpers Ferry

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I try to sneak away to Harpers Ferry several times each year because we love the feel of the town. It's a perfect combination of breathtaking nature, interesting history, and warm and friendly people. The Bed n Biskit represents the sweet spot for us. It's a beautiful little historic home. The view is absolutely my favorite in the entire area, and you couldn't find better hosts than Dean and Steve. This home is clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's settled in just the right spot to enjoy all that the town has to offer!

Must Love Trains!!!

Amtrak, MARC and MANY CSX trains travel thru Harpers Ferry.

They do this at all hours of the day and night. While some may find the train noise disturbing, many find it relaxing and a joy.

We're hoping our guests are the latter.
