On the upper part of Cap-Ferrat in a green and peaceful setting, you find the Pas Maï villa, a Provencal house from the 50´s. South-oriented and therefore it enjoys a a lot of sun. The accommodation is at the garden level of the villa. Fully renovated in 2009 for all the comfort for a pleasant stay. Composed of 2 comfortable bedrooms with their own showers and toilets. The living room spreads out the chimney with sofa, banquette, library with various books, objects and others. En-suite to the living room, the indoor dining room with crockery and cutlery for a pleasant atmosphere during your meals. The loggia opens for outdoor living, to the dining area and relaxation area. A few metres away from the swimming pool, the garden walk around the red fishes pond, in the middle of the fruit trees. The barbecue is ready for BBQs with local herbs and the famous “rosé de Provence” wine. You can expect us to be attentive and discreet to ensure a pleasant stay.
Alain and Cathy have created a fabulous haven of calm. Discreet but ever helpful and very kind. The apartment is spacious, immaculate and fully equipped for a family stay. The pool and garden are beautiful and the location exceptional. We are very grateful for the kind hospitality and only regret that our French language skills are so poor we couldn't express our gratitude fully when we left. Many many thanks and we hope to return very soon !
Alain and Cathy’s lovely home in the wooded hills above St. Jean Cap Ferrat provides a wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and picturesque harbours of the Cote D’Azur.
Alain and Cathy are delightful hosts, very discreet, but always there to help should the need arise (as it did when our rental car broke down!). The apartment is delightful and the garden terrace overlooking the pool is a great place to relax and take the sun on the comfortable loungers provided.
Alaine et Cathy - nous avons vraiment apprécié notre soirée avec vous , je vous remercie pour votre aimable hospitalité et une merveilleuse vacances! Andrew & Sharon
We stayed 1 week in April 2014 and couldn't have chosen a better place. The property has a huge, well-kept garden, is super clean and comes with all possible amenities including bikes. Location is quiet yet within easy walking/biking distance to beaches and the town centre. The owners live above and are very friendly yet remain discrete.
This is an excellent vacation retreat. The beautiful villa has a large garden with a nice pool. The owners Alain and Cathy are lovely hosts. They really know how to make you feel welcome and get all the details right. The bottom floor is separate and spacious, perfect for the four of us (two adults and two three year olds). The pool and garden are available to the exclusive use of the guests. Our children spent lots of time playing in and around the pool. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terrace. Cap Ferrat is a very quiet and beautiful peninsula with luxury villas. We rented a boat several times to explore the peninsula and swim and snorkel. There is also a great path around the peninsula to walk or run with views of the Sea, Villefranche, Nice, Beaulieu and Monte Carlo. We'll surely return to this lovely place!
We enjoyed a wonderful week in villa "Pas Mai". The villa was very comfortable and clean with a fabulous outdoor terrace and pool area. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and felt secure. Walking distance to town is roughly 10-15 mins - uphill on the way back - and there is an excellent patisserie & charcuterie on the road towards the port. The villa was well equipped with numerous pool accessories & towels, free use of a laptop, much appreciated welcome provisions including delicious home made jams, fresh oranges and lemons picked from the trees in the garden as required & bikes available to use. Cap Ferrat is an ideal location close to Nice, Monaco, Cannes & Antibes. We had a hire car although there are good transport links. Cathy & Alain are very kind and welcoming hosts, we were made to feel at home. We would recommend the Cap Ferrat coastal walk, the restaurant La Mere Germaine in nearby Villefranche sur Mer (excellent), the Ephrussi de Rothschild villa and gardens in St. Jean Cap Ferrat (pleasant lunch in the cafe), the walk up to castle hill in Nice (although there is a lift if you look for it at the shore promenade) & the modern art gallery (MAMAC) in Nice. The Fernand Leger museum in Biot and the Picasso museum in Antibes are also worth a visit if you enjoy art. A truly enjoyable week, we would be happy to return.
