Our 2 story beach house can accommodate 2 families. The upstairs has 2 beds, 2 full baths, and a beautiful kitchen. We have a wrap around balcony offering ocean views. Downstairs is a large suite with a kitchenette. The house is a lot like a duplex with separate upstairs and downstairs living areas. Outside is a swim spa pool and a great patio setting.
The entire house is yours to enjoy - upstairs and downstairs!
We have a privacy fence surrounding the back yard and we are pet friendly. The uncrowded beach is just 200 steps away!
We have WiFi, cable, high speed internet, and smart flat screen TV's. Enjoy grilling in the backyard with our gas grill next to outside patio dining.
Nena and I love this area. We have 4 dogs and we love the active lifestyle this area offers. We love biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, or just walking the beach. This is the area we want to retire to someday!
Gary purchased this house in 2014
We chose this home because it's so close to the beach. This road also is a sandy road, with only neighborhood beach access. The views from the balcony are divine and the beach is the best in the area to enjoy the ocean.Even the dune walkover is natural.
The beach at the end of our street is a wide sandy beach with some shells and very few rocks. This makes for great swimming and playing in the water.
North of us about a half mile up the beach is Washington Oaks State Park and Beach with beautiful coquina rock formations. Great exploring and no crowds.
The home is very close to Washington Oaks State Park and is a natural setting. We have wild parrots, deer, and the state gardens within walking distance. We're also close enough to St Augustine - a 20 minute drive away.
Daytona Beach is 30 minutes south, Flagler Beach town is 15 minutes south.
We have 2 great beach bikes, 2 regular bikes,a stand up paddle board, and a 2 seat kayak - come on down the water's great!
We were a party of six adults and two young children. The house is beautiful, well maintained and has every thing you could need to have a great time. I wasn't prepared for how close to the beach the home is. The beach was nearly deserted the whole time we were here. The hot tub/swim spa was absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend this house more.
Loved staying here. Travelled with three of our adult children. The house had so much space. Also the toys provided ( stand up paddle board, kayak, bicycles) made for many cost saving activities. The beach is marvelously close. Publix nearby made shopping super easy. Even though hurricane Matthew hit the area and there is some evidence still, there are no issues with this property. What can be seen by no means detracted from our enjoyment what so ever.
I can totally recommend this property as a good value and as ideal for any combination of families, couples or friends to get away to.
Thanks for an awesome rental home!
We stayed here with our family of six the house as lots of room, we all liked the very large deck from there we could see the ocean. Every think in the house was in great condition and all work well. We would stay here again for shore. Peter & Mary
We enjoyed our week in your home very much! The home was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The lay out was very convenient and the hot tub a nice luxury. The little extra touches made available was really appreciated. Being so close to the beach was a plus and being able to see and hear it was such a pleasure. The bikes were used daily both on the beach and nearby trails. Thank you for the great get a way! We hope to return again!
We were six adults so the three separate bedrooms worked great. We had our dog with us so we stayed downstairs with direct access to the yard, and the two other couples stayed upstairs.
The kitchen, living and dining area worked out great, and we spent a lot of time on the large balcony.
The beach is just a few steps away, and the walking along the beach is great.
Gary was super responsive when we had questions or concerns - we would highly recommend this place!
Thank you for the use of your lovely, spacious, home for our stay at the beach. It is usually awkward taking a trip with our dogs, but they were made as welcome as we were. Everything inside was as comfortable and inviting as the outside access to the beach area. Excellent kitchen furnishings, towels galore for the baths, roomy bedrooms and closets, large dining room and living room, upstairs balcony running the full length of the house with lots of seating. All that along with a paddle board, a two-person kayak, and multiple beach chairs left us needing nothing more than food and sunscreen. The swim spa was the icing on the cake. A big two thumbs up!

This part of Florida is natural and not heavily developed. There are great restaurants, dog friendly beaches, great walking trails, and a beautiful coastline to explore. We are about 1 hour to Orlando, 25 minutes to St Augustine, and 5 minutes from Hammock resort.
Washington Oaks State Park nearby to our north, has rock formations as well as a beautiful garden and natural area. This park extends from the Intracoastal to the Ocean.
Marineland , to the north, is a marine park with turtle hospital. There is also great kayaking in that area - 2 seat kayak is at the house - or rent a kayak there. Farmers market there every Saturday morning.
Malacompra bike trails nearby (south on AIA a mile or two) - has nice bike trails as well as a scenic bicycle sidewalk all the way to Flagler Beach.
The town of Flagler Beach has great restaurants and cute little shops. This is a great old Florida town - there is a museum, parks, etc - On the first Friday of every month, the town square has vendors and events. Every Saturday morning is the farmers market.
Fresh fish can be bought at the Seafood Shoppe in St Augustine or at Flagler Fish Restaurant ( eat in or take fresh fish to go) - both places have a wide selection of fresh seafood.
JT's restaurant nearby has all you can eat shrimp on Thursday nights :)
There is fishing at the beach, or at the Intracoastal waterway - Bing's landing nearby has a dock and a good barbecue place called Captain's.
Trail head bike shop across from Bing's has bikes to rent, and can do repairs if one of our bikes go down.
The Atlantic Grill in Hammock Dunes Resort is open to the public and has oceanfront dining.
St Augustine, is 30 minutes north and a pretty drive up A1A along the coast. There is tons to do there! See the fort, Ripleys, pub crawls, Ghost tours, carriage rides, stores, art, etc.
Daytona is about 30 minutes south and likewise has alot - the speedway, great restaurants, shops, and events.
