It has a true beach feeling with a mixture of eclectic furniture.
We love the beach. We live here on the island and love everything about Pass a Grille! Such a great place to retreat!
Cheryl purchased this cottage in 2014
It has the historic Pass a Grille cottage feel to it. That's why we bought it. Some people buy houses here to level them. We wanted to preserve this one's classic nature. In 2016 we were placed on Pass a Grille's Historic Home list. We are honored to have this designation and hope our guests will love the cottage as much as we do!
A dedicated parking space is very hard to come by in Pass a Grille. You will have your own dedicated space. The beach is literally steps away and you can spend your entire month here enjoying the beach and taking the trolley downtown.
This was our first time staying in Pass-a-Grille. We've stayed at St Pete before on the other side of the Don, so I was a little unsure what the area would be like. It's such a unique place. The "finger" of land the home is located on is only about 3 or 4 blocks wide, so going from the bay to the ocean is literally a hop, skip, and a jump. You can go to the bay side in the mornings to watch the sunrise, and sit on the beach side in the evenings to watch the sunset. Such a beautiful view of both, too! The beach is literally steps from the front porch - right across the street. The downtown area really is a short walk from the home and there's so much to do there. Many little restaurants and quaint bars/pubs. Rooftop seating with beautiful views of either the bay or the ocean. And the home is wonderful. They're in the midst of doing some work, but the workers were at a standstill for the weekend, so it worked out for us. We were in town for my husband's high school reunion and most of the festivities were in downtown St Pete. We were a short drive from all of the events, but were able to enjoy the beautiful sights and relaxing beach in this wonderful home. My only regret is that I was not able to meet Cheryl before we left. She made our arrival and stay so easy and took so much care to make sure we had everything we might need. A top notch stay in a top notch location!
Great experience, from check in to check out. We were provided a code to the door, so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. House provided everything we needed and then some, including a deck of cards on the table - something the wives came to regret. Guess they cannot win at everything. Location was excellent as beaches were across the street, restaurants a few blocks away, and a marina for our boat minutes away. It was everything we needed and with remodeling about to kick off, it will be an even better experience. Look forward to our return soon.
My son, daughter-in-law and grandson spent four wonderful night at Cheryl's two bedroom home. The layout is such that we had lots of privacy but were able to meet in the middle in the kitchen and living room. The gulf is a mere 30 second walk from the front door. Lovely Pass-a-Grill down town is five minutes by foot yet it does not intrude on the privacy at the house. I will be back. Pete
Entering the front door, we felt a certain piece. We walked into a welcoming home, nicely furnished. The rooms are more than adequately spread out for privacy and very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the gear a culinary master would need(we had one stop by for dinner a few times) They even had beach chairs for everyone and bikes! In the 5weeks my husband, son and I were here we had multiple family members of all ages visit who fell in love with the feel of passagrille as well as the charm of this gem. The location is perfectly located to the shops, restaurants, and just across the street from the beach.
We also want to express our gratitude to the owners. Thank You Cheryl for being such a ray of sunshine in our time of need! We're defiantly coming back!
My wife and I spent the summer here and loved the size, location, and charm of this place. The owner is responsive and kind and very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach front spot! It's right around the corner from great food and drinks and literally steps from the sand!
My husband and I spent the month of March 2015 in Passe Grille. We have always stayed on st Pete beach so we were familiar with the area. Found this quiet community just perfect.
Our accommodations were great! Clean and perfectly located close to beach(across gulf way) small street . Restaurants, shopping.shelling. Everything we needed was available in our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Our dog Daisy was welcome also!. Cheryl was very attentive with any thing we needed. Can't eait to go back.
