Situated just outside the ancient village of Tregony (gateway to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula), Vose Farm’s origins date back to the middle of the 18th-century from when it was run for many years as a thriving dairy farm. Set in 20 acres of rolling pasture, arable and woodland and with spectacular and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, Vose Farm is the ideal location to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall. The four cottages (UKC205, UKC206, UKC207 and UKC208) are stone built, wooden beamed and well-equipped, offering quality self-catering holiday accommodation throughout the year. Vose Farm Cottages are an ideal holiday destination for families (including babies and toddlers), or couples seeking somewhere to relax and get away from it all, and yet be in an ideal location to explore an area nostalgically referred to as the Cornish Riviera. There is a wildlife pond that attracts waterbirds and is stocked with fish, and a picnic area completes this perfect holiday spot. If you can draw yourself away from this idyllic spot then the area is rich and diverse in tourist attractions both natural and man-made. The area has some beautiful sandy beaches in pretty coves backed by dramatic cliffs that are so typical of Cornwall, and provide the quintessential ingredients for the perfect family day out. With cliff walking, kayaking on the River Fowey, sailing, and sea fishing from one of the many fishing villages close by, Vose Farm really is in the ideal location to enjoy Cornwall. Bring home the fish you catch and enjoy a barbecue while the sun goes down over the fields. Vose Farm is less than 3 miles from Caerhays Castle and Porthluney Beach, and a similar distance from the world famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, the quaint fishing port of Mevagissey and the Georgian port of Charlestown (with its resident tall ships). Further afield is the Eden Project, 8 miles, the capital city of Truro, 9 miles, St Mawes, 14 miles, and the surfing beaches of Newquay are 18 miles away. The south Cornwall coast is home to many National Trust houses and gardens that provide superb days out for all. Golf, horse riding, cycle hire and off road trails for walking and riding are all close by. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
