At the end of my recent stay in Ruth & Deny's home on Desert Sage Drive in Fountain Hills I didn't want to leave. Yes, the Fountain Hills location made their (owners) home highly desirable, but it is also one of those homes that you can't wait to return to after a day of exploring and enjoying the best that Arizona has to offer. The Desert Sage Dr. home was so incredibly comfortable...and it is situated in such an awesome location when it comes to accessing Arizona attractions, events, and every-day services. Everything, and I do mean everything, has been thought of such that you feel totally at home. The furnishings, decor, amenities, and attention to detail make the home instantly cozy with nothing more to plan than your clothes and your tooth brush. Kitchen, dining, bathrooms, bedrooms, living/lounging areas, and even the office and garage are all so very well prepared...with a attention to detail and comfort, and impeccably clean!! And that's just the inside of the home...outside was so beautifully maintained and landscaped with, again, everything considered for patio comfort and enjoyment. Outstanding views of Four Peaks and the adjacent mountain range on the north-facing, covered patio that is shaded and outfitted with lots of comfortable outdoor furniture...and so very quiet! I really appreciated how thoughtful and genuinely considerate Ruth and Deny were, as it went well beyond check in. They were so helpful throughout my stay regarding anything I may need in the home and guidance to the surrounding area. And they were so great to work with regarding my travel logistics. I can't say enough about Fountain Hills, the truly extraordinary home, and the very nice couple that own the vacation oasis on Desert Sage Dr. I'm looking forward to returning very soon!
Fountain Hills is the ideal winter vacation spot. While quiet and very little traffic, the area offers everything you could want. There is always something going on at the Fountain Hills Park. You can be as busy as you want, hiking, golfing, dining out, concerts, etc. We were lucky to have found such a beautiful house to rent in the area for the winter. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. We have rented numerous places over the past few years and this would rank right up at the top. The owners were absolutely great to deal with. They were a wealth of information for someone new to the area. They were very responsive right from our initial contact to the day we left. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to the fountain. The views from the back patio are stunning, with a view of the mountains and a view of the fountain. We loved our home away from home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated home. It was well stocked with everything one could need. Definitely worth five stars!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Desert Sage! It was such a comfortable, spacious house with a beautiful view of the Four Peaks and Fountain from the back patio. It has a large yard that is easily accessible and a convenient 3-car garage. The house is within walking distance to the Fountain and only a few blocks from stores. The Den was perfect for work on the computer and the kitchen was well-stocked with lots of dishes, pans, and utensils. Dennis and Ruth were always available for questions and went out of their way to make us feel at home! We would like to rent this house again and would highly recommend it to others!!
We recently sold our Scottsdale home and in the process of moving to Colorado. We needed a home for a month before the move and found this home to be fabulous. Everything we could want was included. It was light filled, tastefully decorated and very clean. Extra storage space in the garage was a bonus. The patio & views are amazing too.
The house we originally booked with another owner turned out to be a disaster. We turned to VRBO and found Ruth's listing on Desert Sage. We drove by the house to check it out and Ruth just happened to be out front. We stopped, asked if it was available and she invited us in.
What a fabulous place!! This was exactly what we were hoping for! Very open floor plan, bright, mountain views, near Fountain Park, very quiet street, pet friendly, every amenity we needed...like I said...fabulous!
Ruth is very engaging, easy to talk to, helpful in every way. AND with her designer background you can be assured that the house is beautifully decorated! Each room is carefully appointed with art, decorations and appropriate amenities. You cannot go wrong renting any of Ruth's listings.
Now that we are home, we are working on timing for a return visit.
My husband and I along with our 12 year old daughter rented this beautiful, clean, well maintained house for alittle over 4 months without one issue. Everything you can think of was there....just like your house! The owners are great people and were so great to work with.
