Paradise End is popular for its open-plan style downstairs and the fantastic views over Hebden beck and up to the hills and moors beyond the cottage. It's a sociable and family friendly spot where no one needs to get stuck in the kitchen on their own. The kitchen with all the necessary appliances has 2 tables with seating for up to 12 if needed. This leads into the living area which has a large, comfortable sofa and chairs and the most amazing views out over your terrace. There is also a corner snug area with large TV with Netflix. For those of us not inside watching TV there's lots of inspiration with guide books, large maps of the Yorkshire Dales on the wall and local history books to explore. There's a basket of toys, loads of children's books and family games too.
Also downstairs is one double (5ft King) bedroom (space for travel cot in here) and a shower room. There's a walk in cupboard for hanging coats. You also have the key to the owners' drying room with racks for all that wet weather gear.
Upstairs the cottage has 3 bedrooms and the family bathroom with shower over the bath. The double room (5ft bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers) has space for a small travel cot and views out over the stream. The small twin (3ft beds, chest of drawers but no wardrobe in here). The larger twin (3ft beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers) and also space for a travel cot.
Paradise End is the end of a row of the three Jerry and Ben's Cottages. Outside the cottage is your own private terrace with table and chairs. There is access down to the stream, woods and gardens which are shared with the 2 other holiday cottages. The cottage is on a footpath and many great walks surround us - up onto the moors or down to the village of Hebden and beyond to the River Wharfe.
